Omer Riza:

Riza was happy with the team's defensive display, but admitted they have to be better in possession if they are to start stringing wins together - which is what they need if they are to get themselves out of trouble.

"Every point is important," he added. "The points you pick up will help you get out of the position you are in. It's a tough place to come - they are an excellent side. We managed to contain them with real resilience.”

"If you defend well and don't allow opposition opportunities to score, although they came aggressively, we managed to score as well after going 1-0 down. Rubin could have had a goal at the end - I think that would have been a bit unfair on them if we'd nicked that game. But I'm very happy.”

“There have been games where we could have picked up three points with a bit of luck and we could have been out of this position we are in.”

“We could have been up to 17th, 16th if we'd picked up three against Coventry and against Stoke away from home.”

Omer Riza:

"The boys are showing resilience. If there's anything I can moan about it's that we need to show a bit more quality in possession under pressure and not turn the ball over for them to hurt us again. There were moments where we had to be better in possession, but it's tough, you're under pressure, you're trying to pick up points and the whole situation can be overwhelming at times.“

"But they've come through the game, we've picked up five points in the last three against tough opposition and we need to keep taking that forward.”

"We just have to keep working.

“We could have been up to 17th, 16th if we'd picked up three against Coventry and against Stoke away from home.”
it looks totally different. We have to keep fighting and working.”

"We need to pick up three points, really, but to come here and get a point is very satisfying."

I totally disagree with Riza.

You make your own luck and it evens out over the season.

As all the Top managers say: “The League Table does not lie.”

Riza has Win one game from his last 12 games and only 8pts from 36pts most managers would be Sacked with his record.

If some fans are even a little happy with that then it shows how low our expectations have become:

1,000% Wez,

If we want to either go down or scrape say 4/5 from Bottom Riza is the man for that.

Wez , Our fans now are happy with bread crumbs and it’s getting worse every season.

We do need a better manager and we also need a better back room team.

We should have waited for Robins.

Correct:

One win in 12 games is not bad luck.

If two draws and a win is presenting our good patch , God save us.

We need a proper Winning run.

Other clubs do well look at Hull v Leeds today.

‘Could be’ won’t keep us up ..
We have to make the wins happen.
Concerns me he doesn’t believe we need a striker in the window so must be happy with what we have got.
Have to be honest and say that I would be more optimistic if we had got an experienced manager like Mark Robbins in charge

Robins was available before we appointed Riza as full time manager.

Stoke have given Robins a three year contract.

The idiot who runs our club was never going to offer anyone more than a six month contract - hence why we've ended up with Riza instead of a proper manager.

all very well criticising rizala but we have him because of tan. he is doing an okay job with his experience, squad and backing. don't flagof the manns when it's not down to him. this is all down to tan and the other clowns. a great pointing difficult circumstances.we gave one chance to avoid relegation andvtgatsfor the fans to get behind the manager and the team. slag tan andvtge board all you like but this ain't or's fault.

Let’s see how Robins does. I work in Coventry and after talking to many season ticket holders they all say the same thing and that is the success they have had in the last couple of seasons was mainly down to the coach who Robins fell out with last summer and was let go. And why they struggled at the start of this season. Guess time will tell.

Nothing against by the way RIZA Not Rizala

Nothing personal against Riza.

But I want the best for my club and Riza is not the manager and I not allowed to say this, My view / opinion??

I want us to progress not another season of scraping the barrel.

If I am wrong why are Our Attendances falling badly?

I hope your still Marching ?
Or does a couple of draws make you change your mind?

It’s not against Riza it’s The Hierarchy.

agree with most of the above. he comes across as a really nice guy much more than bullet ever did but that don't win you games. 200% better over the last two games but inexperience coat us today. for me the squad have shown how good they can be, an experienced attack minded coach and we can do very well

Re: Omer Riza:

I don't blame Riza for any of this.

We started Rubin as the 9 - crazy but we have nothing else
Tanner isn't a starter in the championship for any other club
Ashford worked hard and defensively is so much better than i thought
Willock - Not championship level, no grit. Yes he played a lot of games for QPR but he doesn't score, assist or defend
Meite - He is a trier but Christ he destroyed more of our attacks than their defenders when he came on
Kanga- We all have given up on him
Robinson- Would he have made boro's bench? Inconsistent, petulant and injury-prone

Tan better back him

assure you annis I'm not riza/rizla or whatever, just saying that I thought today was an admiral performance given the resources he has. rest assured I will be Marching on 18th but this is against tan and the clowns and not the manager and players who are on a no win situation. if we suddenly won 4 to 5 games on the bounce the problems have not been solved so what have they got to win

It was I agree a solid away performance and I praised this in my match Report.
