Peterborough having a bad season but he scored ten and had four assists last season.

Only 22 years old so has potential.

Won't be an expensive signing so worth taking a chance on him I'd say.

One thing he does have is pace, which we desperately need. Can play up front or as a winger.

So Riza said a while back he already has everything in place for January Transfers

Well then they should be already at our club training etc it’s Jan 6th

Or about another b.ll.ck dropped by starmer.

All a smoke screen, I doubt we will be bringing in a striker at all, he mentioned that the ‘forward problems are sorted with Davies’

Simic back which might be another plan they have.

But even then, we’ve been crying out for a striker for years and he was loaned straight out. If he is the answer to our problems, then why?

Perhaps we'll pick up Worzel Gummidge from Farmer Palmer's field - he'd make a greater impact than what we currently have (barring CR47 who we can't hammer for the whole season).

I do agree with you, just saying that that's they'll say we've added Simic to the squad if we don't sign anyone.

Its looking like tan is sticking with what he chatted about when riza went over and riza is sticking with what he was told davies etete 2 new strikers its a big gamble when i am just looking at
QPR V luton they have moved on QPR they have the same team from the start of the season how come they can do it but we cannot baffling,
is it the players manager or both,
i would be very suprised if we sign anyone but if we don' t,
well riza has tried everything and we are still joint bottom.

I've done a little look into this potential deal, his contract ends in 6 months. so I can see the board trying because they are tight

Oh how I remember the good old days on here when Peterboro had 2 strikers scoring for fun and we had links ;)

I said at the time we should go for the guy in midfield who was also getting goals - Sammy Szmodics 20/21 season.

Cardiff City have held talks about signing Peterborough United forward Ricky-Jade Jones as Bluebirds manager Omer Riza targets "three or four" new players in January.

The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for the League One side this season.

As Jones is out of contract at the end of this campaign, the pacey forward could be available for a reduced fee.

However, even if Jones was to leave for free in the summer, his age means Peterborough would be able to claim a fee decided by a tribunal.

"There's been discussions regarding Ricky-Jade Jones and we will see how that progresses," said Riza.

"At the moment, all we can say is that the discussions are taking place, obstacles are in the way which we've spoken about previously, which is whether players want to come to our club or whether we can afford to sign them for our club, whether it's right for us to bring those players in and whether they'll be impactful.

"We have to make sure we get that right. But definitely the process has begun for three or four players to come in.

"There's a whole host of players we are looking at, in respect of pace in the top line, creativity and impact. He [Jones] is one of a list of players we've spoken about."
