Mr Nash

Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:31 pm

Tonight. Arsenal v Newcastle. Great atmosphere with both sets of supporters next to each other feeding it. No trouble. Likewise around the country on the weekend. What does Mr Nash do? Keep fans a million miles from each other. No atmosphere. Football is an entertainment business which should serve the public. What a plonker. Clearly enjoys his title and self importance. He is a person who is pompous and has only his self interest at heart. Let’s march.

We have fans that like to cause trouble. Completely different circumstances.

While I agree we should be closer to create atmosphere we can never be too close.

Totally disagree, all clubs have fans that like to cause trouble, we're no different to other clubs.

I can't recall any other club with segregation as big as ours at the CCS. It's completely dampened the atmosphere over the years and make it too comfortable for away fans to be noisier than us. It's no wonder our home record isn't very good.

I do agree with you but, there could be a counter argument that the lack of crowd trouble is BECAUSE of the segregation at the CCS. Just thinking of what would be the probable reply mate.

A lot to do with shape of stadium..... only answer is to move family section and let ninian move lot closer but that's not going to happen for security reasons (leeds) (Swansea) to name two... also Brighton are moving away fans from home fans as being so close makes away fans louder... someone is wrong but who?

The family stand is such a huge failure in terms of take up and numbers especially for evening games and, especially winter evening games.

I'd like the lower Grandstand( either one of the sides of the tunnel) to be made the family section. Its big enough for the families and kids that turn up.
