A reminder that there are no longer replays in the FA Cup.
So if tonight's game is a draw after 90 minutes, it will go straight to extra time and penalties.

Not good for the likes of Tamworth. They could get a draw on Sunday but no money spinning replay away at Spurs.

That's why I don't like it. The lower teams would always hope for a big team and sometimes watching them hold out for a draw & a replay was good for the supporters & the teams.
I think that this decision has just massively devalued the F.A. cup & it will never be the same.

Exta money allocated to bribe lower league clubs.... get extra money for being in 3rd round.... think city get around 80k for being on tv aswell

And there you have it.
Tamworth draw 0-0 at home to Spurs in 90 minutes but are robbed of a money spinning away replay.

exactly one of the reasons why premier teams play youngsters and the lower teams don't feel the old magic of the fc cup. it's all down to money as top teams don't want additional fixtures, tough shit you carry 30 plus men squads so what's the issue.
