Kanga has 'no future' at Hertha BSC
Reports in Germany state Cardiff loan man Wilfried Kanga has "no future" at Hertha BSC.
The striker has endured a nightmare loan spell in the Welsh capital, having failed to score in 16 appearances. Cardiff are in the market to bring in a striker this month but are wary about sending their own striker back to Germany if they don't have a replacement lined up.
It leaves the 26-year-old in limbo - and if reports in Germany are to be believed, his future is shrouded in doubt there, too.
Former Hertha BSC boss Pál Dárdai previous labelled Kanga as ‘lazy’ and rarely used him while in charge of the club and the report states that how he has fared at Cardiff has only added credence to the manager's comments.
It remains likely that Kanga will return to the German capital this month, where his contract runs until 2026, however the report states ‘he has no future’ in Berlin.

Sounds like we were ‘
duped’ into taking him; or someone simply didn’t do their job…!

We shouldn't be worried about sending him back as he's worse than having no striker.

He has no future here. A youngster should be on the bench instead of him 100% of the time.

With you on this. Sadly he’s wasting a valuable space in the squad. Whether he plays or not it has no effect on the result. So let him go and pop Ashford into his selection spot. He’s shown enough to merit being in starting 11 or on the bench each week.

Says in the last line that he is probably going back.

Depends on the terms of loan? But most clubs don't like to put clauses in that means the player can be returned if doesn't work out...injuries being the exception... just another of long line of duds we've brought in

I can't recall who but didn't we want to send a player back and the club didn't want them?

Jan 10th and he's still here, isn't a good sign, is it?

Not necessarily; Joel Colwill has only now been recalled and it could be that Berlin are seeking an alternate club for him
If he doesn’t (go back) what about FC Kjortvik, as they seem to need a ‘
striker’?

Could be right would have thought once on loan you stay unless there's clause for him to be recalled which seriously doubt they put in! He's not injured so send him to Iceland if it frees up space
