" A positive night for the Bluebirds "

I was surprised that Riza picked a strong team tonight. Not players who have played a lot lately, but still a strong team.

And that was mostly a good performance and we deserved the win.

Cian Ashford was brilliant and Horvath was solid in goal.

This was all about players getting more minutes and some academy players got their chance as well.

But brilliant to get into Round Four, didn't expect it if I'm honest.

A positive night for the Bluebirds :bluebird:

Never looked like conceding a goal.... defence certainly improved immeasurably
Now for a small team in next round

Great win and performance....since Shaw has come we look so much stronger defensively and a proper structure working harder

A great win on national TV and not expected either. Very pleased for Cian and also Joe for his 400th appearance. Well done to the 150 who made the journey, excellent support all things considered.

Enjoyable evening for a change and some really positive performances from the youngsters. We were the better team and solid in shape. If I have one criticism it was should have scored again and made it safe. How many great chances did Colwill have? I am sorry I am out of patience with him. He just doesn't have a football brain to go with the physique and skill hes blessed with. Such a shame. Ashford is looking be the better prospect now. Quality finish tonight and that's what its about. End product.

There are quite a few of the u21 who would benefit from a loan spell in the January window to a league team, and this would free up spaces for the u18 players to progress to the u21 squad, like Mannie Barton and Daniel Ola, who have, already made their debut in the u21 squad
