Just seen on twitter,we signed Peter Whittingham for £350k.Has there been a better signing for us?

Absolute bargain.

The word "legend" is used too frequently nowadays but it's the only word that's big enough to describe the great man.

If I remember rightly it took him a little while to become a regular starter but when he did ....wow.

An absolute privilege to watch him play for Cardiff. Some of the goals he scored were unbelievable.

A lovely man too who's sadly missed.

Yes agree Earnie is a good shout, but I'd go with Whitts as a goal creator as well as having a very decent goal record for a midfielder.

Great OT on a legend of a player who’s no longer with us and imo it shouldn’t turn into a ‘greatest player’ thread. Surely that can be done on another.
