Cardiff City player returns:

Sat Jan 11, 2025 7:27 pm

Raheem Conte aged 22 was sent out on loan in August to Non League Woking after only 8 appearances returns to Cardiff City ( actually sent back by Woking ).

Conte Released by QPR in 2022 Cardiff took Conte on as a free agent.

Non League Woking Manager:

Brown "He came into the squad during a really difficult time for everybody and didn't get the playing time we'd all have hoped for, but we did see glimpses of his quality and hope he took lots from the experience".

The Club wishes Raheem all the best for the future.

Personally I thought he looked quite talented.

But QPR got rid, failed badly at Non League Woking, he’s 22 years old.

He would take a first team squad place, But Failed in the NON LEAGUE ??

Personally I would get rid.

We just keep on hanging on to freebie and failures.

They play well for a couple of games, but just not good enough.

Actually a very talented player from what little I saw of him. I hope City hang on to him.

If he can't get in the team for Woking then that's a big problem.

If any sort of offer comes in, let him go.

We saw him in a team so devoid of pace and flair that any we saw was so appreciated we went a bit overboard.

I don't believe he is a championship player, but if our model is to take kids who fall out of other clubs' system we need to help them find their level

Probably go out to another national league club and end his contract

Tanner was the same at York, no one ever thought he would come good, conte now needs a good hard look at his self nuckle down and show his worth, his confidence is low at the moment, he needs a chance.

Bones of a good player there.
Needs development support

I’d keep him.

Annis you can say he has failed xyz but he looked sharp when he played for us.

He did, I agree.

I could not understand why we put him out?

But Non League Manager has sent him back and has not praised him at all??
