Worrying that around us: Plymouth have broken their transfer record and have a new manager. Hull a new manager, Stoke a new manager, Oxford have made new signings. Luton about to appoint a new manager. We’ve not adapted whatsoever

We're just not that attractive to potential signings.
In a relegation battle.
Nutcase owner.
Inexperienced manager who only has a contract to the end of the season.
Long way from the bright lights of the big cities.
Wouldn't be surprised if most if not all of our "targets" have turned us down or are waiting for something better to come along.
It's a basket case of a club as is well known in footballing circles and although it appears that we pay quite good wages I doubt very much that we'll see any worthwhile signings this month unfortunately.

Regardless of our club's position/situation January window is about loans ? Only clubs buying tend to be top of league gambling on buying a player to help promoting or club like Plymouth buying and gambling player saves them usually strikers are bought not defenders or midfielders..... market should pick up now fa cup as gone couple managers saying its difficult get players over the line? But I am not expecting any sighnings from us otherwise Jones would be here now!!

I said this last week them making record signing it might not have been a lot but that's not the point,
the point is they are trying to survive in this division what are we doing sweet fa,
this is why we are protesting,
"How bad does it have to get"
no ambition with players and another intrim manager even in our predicament shows such a lack of urgency and any long term thought.

It is very worrying. Those clubs that you mention will potentially get that new manager boost and they just appear to be building a bit of momentum at the right time. Meanwhile we continue to simply tread water.
I really really don't want to get relegated but we've road our luck for so long that Tan and the 2 part timers don't deserve to get out of this mess this time round. We used all our lives up 2 seasons ago relying on a points deduction to save us. This year we don't deserve to stay up.

Aren’t we unbeaten in 4 though?
I get your point but we’ve seen a slight upturn in form, attitude and results of late. By Saturday afternoon I’ll either be happy with that comment or be eating a massive slice of humble pie btw.

We are unbeaten in 4 but we're still 23rd and looking like prime relegation candidates.
These next 2 games are huge. If we can take 4 points out of the 6 on offer with no new injuries...and maybe shortly afyerwards sign a player or 2. It will give us that much needed momentum too.
But if we lose them both...
I hope you don't eat humble pie for sure!

Those ‘ifs’ would be nice.
Hold on tight over next few days then.

our club will simply be left behind
we are shopping in league 1 and league 2 when others are finding potential gems
during the rebrand fans said they would support the club in league 1 or 2 towards tan
and i guess that is what he is doing to our club
starve our club of any quality players
enough to send us down
even plymouth are gaining momentum
