How much longer do this dud Cardiff board give to the chump Riza?

We have taken nine from 39 points and not won in six consective home games, losing four, drawing two and scoring only two CCS goals in the half a dozen games!

Allowing Turk Riza to cut his managerial apprenticeship will cost the Bluebirds their Champioship status and cost £10m-plus pa in EFL Membership and Solidarity payments.

Enough - get rid tonight and hire an experienced soccer head.

Change the manager and nothing changes
The attackers are not very good. The dud board are 99% of the problem not the manager

The problem is they won't hire anyone experienced or pay the fortune it would cost & we'll most likely end up with Purse and the same players causing the same issues.

What would you have done differently before Watford scored? We were well on top until the last 5 minutes yet again, we've dropped about 10 points from winning positions with just minutes left so far this season. Why are we not just belting the ball into row z with minutes left?

Exactly we didn’t play too bad but missed chances and one poor piece of defending cost us .A decent striker and we may survive but without one we really are in trouble . :old:

Changing the manager, would make no real difference. Player's aren't good enough.

We could bring in anyone but without the right players, they won't do much better.

I don't believe Riza is the man to keep us up but I also think it would be an uphill struggle for any manager to do that.

I expect Riza to be replaced by the end of the season.

But unless we bring in at least 3/4 players to come into the first team, we aren't staying up.

Riza never brought in Willock ,El ghazi ,kanga and the rest of our attacking flops that is where we are really struggling and without reinforcements we will continue to suffer

The problem with riza is he panics if we're holding a 1 goal lead going into the last 10-15 minutes, so he moves the entire team back 10 yards so we invite pressure onto us, it's happened multiple times this season and we've crumbled every time, you can see the back 4 change there position from midway inside our half to the edge of our box for the last 15 minutes, this is not a fight we can win with him in charge sadly

We had plenty chances second half to score players couldnt do it, hardly Riza fault tbh

I agree; this was a very good performance from the team now moulded by Omer Riza and had we won (deservedly) this would be a much happier Forum…

Hindsight is a wonderful thing; but on this occasion I really don’t see the manager made genuine ‘mistakes’ in replacing ‘tired’ players with fresh ones?

Everyone gave their all again tonight; with some great play and some crunching tackles going in, which all bodes well for the game against the ‘Jacks’ on Saturday and we should really get behind our Bluebirds right now because they need it and it can make the difference…! :ayatollah:

Points well made. We deserved a win last night and sometimes managers can't legislate for individual mistakes, We are playing without a striker at the moment. If we can address this we have fighting chance of staying up. What I will say about Riza is if he loses on Saturday the atmosphere will be toxic and that's hard to recover from. That game is huge for him and the team.

If we win on Saturday, let’s hope that’s a shot in the arm for the rest of the season.
There’s two ways of looking at the same thing.
