James Bell will take charge of Cardiff City v Swansea City today.
This will be his 14th Championship game of the season, he has shown an average of 4.38 yellow cards per game.
Three red cards have been issued in those games.
He was the referee for our 2-2 draw at Coventry earlier in the season.

Not so long ago they used to appoint a Premier League ref for the South Wales derby.
Now we get the bloke from Billy Elliott.

Being a typical championship ref but he's OK so far.

He doesn't seem to be buying into all their falling over.

When he last refereed us against Coventry, we received six yellow cards from him, but I still think he is one of the better referees we have had at the stadium.

Thought he had a decent game. Didn’t get much wrong in my opinion.

Did okay but should have booked the JB who deliberately barged into Riza.

Very good I thought, tried to keep the game flowing. Jack should have went for the push though!

Bit common sense prevailed there was lot joing on he tookhis time let situation defuse and simply booked Ralls and their player without any fuss

He was better than some we have had.

Thought he was decent.
Tried to let the game flow, didn't lose his mind when there was the melee - could have made the rash decision to send someone off.
It's always a tough game to referee but he handled it relatively well.

Couldn’t fault the ref today, only issue he had was not dealing with the fracas properly, several jacks should have been cautioned, but he dealt with it his way.
Wonder if Sam Allison had a word with him before the game lol

If we’d had him against Coventry we would have e won!
