Quality performances again from both.
Rinomhota was rock solid at right back and I think he's established himself as our number one right back at the club now. There's no shenanigans like NG, Rinomhota just gets on with his job and his athleticism and energy getting up and down the flank is a huge asset.
Chambers has been a revelation since moving into midfield. He's showing he has the phyical stature to dominate the midfield, breaking up play, using the ball well and even getting into dangerous positions to get a few shots off. He took his goal at Middlesbrough superbly and I can see him chipping in with a few more goals. He's given us exactly what our midfield has been lacking, providing some solid stability in front of the back four and allowing Ralls/Siopis to have the freedom to run around and press. I wasn't in favour of Chambers signing as I didn't rate him as a defender, but he's pleasantly surprised me showing what he can do in midfield. He's been absolutely superb and long may it continue.
They have both been like 2 new signings who have provided massive upgrades to our right back and midfield positions. We have been struggling in these positions all season. What an impact they are both having. Well done to both and well done to the whole team. To a man, we were brilliant and well deserved winners today.

Totally agree Rinomhota my mom today did everything he had to and more

Credit to Riza as well, i was worried about Ng coming back in only because i thought Rinomhota has been great and should keep his spot. He did and put in another great performance

Great to see us over powering teams. The two CM bossed the game and i hope Rinomhota gives Ronald back to the Jacks before they get on their coach, he owned him.
Bagan love the kid, tough as teak even though he doesn't look it. The center halfs did what they wanted.
Just great to see

Both, as were many. Bagan is looking a very good left back, but big shout out for Tanner too, plays some lovely stuff and also does more than a shift defensively. Another assist today.

Totally agree with Bagan. He's really grown this season, he's much more aggressive and solid. I would like to see Bagan starting at left back with O'Dowda pushed up to the wing in the future.
Like you say, we overpowered them today, especially in the midfield area. Grimes is usually able to dictate the game against us, but we gave him no opportunity today.

Rhino seems to be MR Professional, never moans and just gets on doing a very good job in not his right position.
Sat Jan 18, 2025 4:04 pm
Was Cullen actually playing?
Totally ineffective..Daaland bossed him all game!!

Rino was immense. Fantastic!
Sat Jan 18, 2025 4:27 pm
We need him to extend his contract with us otherwise we will lose him in the summer.

Rhimahota total revelation this season his work rate is immense if it was for Robinson two goals he was my mom today thought he was awesome but not just this game thought he’s improved so much all round play well done to the lad

Both class, I also thought Bagan looked solid when he came on. Robinson and Robertson dynamite.
Sat Jan 18, 2025 5:25 pm
Superb every one of them, I agree wth all above.
Ronald McDonald looked a right clown
Sat Jan 18, 2025 5:33 pm
Men against boys, long may it continue
Sat Jan 18, 2025 5:33 pm
Completely agree, they were both superb today.
Chambers seems made for this new role. He's a big guy so you notice him easily on the pitch and he don't half hunt the opposition down. I love it. Not sure anyone's turned him yet coz he wins every duel.

Spot on both players revelatory!!!

Going back a few weeks I honestly felt that Chambers would go down as one of our very worst signings of recent years.
Since moving into midfield however he has been excellent and today was magnificent.
Hard to believe that Rino looked like he was on his way out last season but is keeping Perry NG out of the team on merit and today he was immense.
Brilliant by them both.

Agree with OP but think Bagan also deserves similar praise. He was superb today and should be starting first choice left back now

Brilliant today when he came on.

Agree with everything and also Bagan was outstanding when he came on. Loved Chambers at the end giving it large to the mutants.

So much of Swanseas play came down the right. Rino was immense the whole game. One of the best defensive performance I’ve seen from a city right in a while. Gave them nothing. Amazing considering he’s a midfielder. His athleticism and pace has made us much more solid. Ng has just not been himself this season.

Both look like new signings a credit to both players also a shout out to Joel Bagan

I was so glad to see rinomhota selected at right back on Saturday. He is our best right back at the moment. He has a great engine and battles well against his winger. NG is going to have to earn his place back and at the moment he isn’t. Chambers has been a revelation in midfield. My mate said to me he should be in midfield a while ago and I didn’t think so, thought he’d be to slow and ponderous on the ball and would cost us. Never been so happy to be wrong! Bluebirds!

Both excellent along with Bagan. Couldn't really complain about any of the lads performance on Saturday. They gave everything.

For Rinomhota and Chambers I totally agree.
Rino was great at fullback against Norwich and was even better against the Jacks.
Chambers put in the best CM performance for us in years and we’ve looked a better team since he moved in there.
Bagan was also excellent but I’m still somewhat concerned about whether he is Championship standard. Even on Saturday he let his man get the wrong side of him and was only saved by the fact Swansea couldn’t pass the ball !! That said, he has certainly improved but, in my opinion, has to do it in every game, not just the big one. Jury still out for me.

Rinomhota has always been quality, when he was called upon he always gave 100% not sure why he hasn't played more!!
