He's still 29 and has huge premier league experience as well caps for England. He's a pedigree player just not a centre half. Massive credit to Riza for now getting the best out of him.

The improvement in our performances is in large part due to Chambers moving into midfield. I knew he played there for a Fulham and won player of the season but I’m still surprised how well he’s played. He reads the game so well and so much quality on the ball, qualities he didn’t show at centre half. Also looks a goal threat which is something we need more of from our midfield.

His composure on the ball was awful so to see him take the ball in tight spaces and keep it suprises me.

His anticipation is brilliant and he seems to always be where a loose ball drops.

Class act and a fantastic attitude yesterday, he won everything.

When he passes the ball he runs to support his pass if it gets broken down he’s the first 1 there to get it back he’s playing great at moment long may it continue
