Rhino wages

Sun Jan 19, 2025 2:06 pm

Seem to remember he’s on something crazy like £20 odd k a week which is why so many managers have tried to move him on.

Can’t see us paying that again but would like to keep him.

Reckon he’d have to take a pay cut and although he’s in the team now that hasn’t always been the case.

Wonder if he’d stay with that all being the case?

I hope we keep him.

He would have to take a pay cut to leave us anyway, no one will pay him 20 odd k a week.

He’s been superb since he came into the team, can play a number of positions and he is a solid professional.

Could easily have thrown his toys out of the pram about playing time, but got his head down and put himself back in contention, now he’s keeping Ng out of the team.

Capology is a well respected website that charges £000's for full membership so there must be some accuracy there.

Suggests that "Rino" is on £15k per week.

Sorry, but if it's free or costs thousands has zero bearing on the accuracy of anything & all of these place quoting earnings don't actually know anything about how much someone is paid.

Some might be closer to the actual amount but what they charge you has nothing to do with it.

I doubt he's on £20k. Somewhere between 10 and 15 is more likely.

He should be offered a new contract. Proven himself to be reliable.

He probably won't get what he's on now but also probably wouldn't get that anywhere else either.

But if the club are reasonable with their offer to him, I'm sure he'll be staying.
