Can we cut the rubbish now?

Sun Jan 19, 2025 9:08 pm

That we don't care about the derby as much as them lot?

The reaction from players and fans showed how much it was really means to us all.

I've not City fans or players show that much emotion for a very long time, it was an even bigger reaction that the home win last season.

So I hope people stop saying we don't care about it as much as they do - yesterday is proof that it just isn't true.

Oh we absolutely do, and so we should, it's what football's all about.

However I don't think we'll be putting up quotes referencing them all over our stadium.

We've endured years of torment from them lot. We deserve this and we should enjoy it. :ayatollah:

Well said Ned, totally agree.

I've been saying for ages we need to take this fixture as seriously as they do and nothing will change results wise until we do, and know we have we've shown we are the better team.

I think the march helped the atmosphere a bit but long may it continue.
