we have a habit of gifting teams such as qpr millwall who have not won a game for ages
We really need to be up for this der y gamr as much as swansea game as we have leeds sunderland coming up
So its a must to get 3 points at home from a struggling team
Its all about how fired up riza gets them,
don' t exspect an easy game but try and put the game to bed in the first half rather than chasing the game in the second half.

Paul Warne makes 'position I am in' comment after Derby County defeat
Derby County suffered their fifth successive defeat in the Sky Bet Championship to Sunderland on Tuesday night -

Speaking about the game on RamsTV, Warne said: "First-half we tried to send them out really positive, we just looked a bit nervy on the ball, we didn't play with enough personality. Second-half we did and I said this to the lads that your performance levels were enough to win any game, but you can't let 45 minutes go for whatever reason."

But a defeat is still a defeat, and in a brutal footballing world decided by fine margins, results are everything, and Derby are simply not picking up points. They now sit in 20th place, just a point above the dreaded drop zone, but could sink deeper with Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle both in action on Wednesday night.

Something Warne takes accountability for, admitting: "It's on me as always, I take the blame. I thought I sent them out really motivated to start well and we did start okay, but it just looked a bit timid.
"I appreciate the position I am in, but I was really proud of the second-half. It looked like my team."

Games don't get much bigger than what is up next for Derby. A trip to South Wales is on the cards as The Rams will square off against fellow strugglers Cardiff City, who are just one point above them, on Saturday at 3pm.

Derby County head into this weekend’s action sat 20th in the Sky Bet Championship.

Our visitors have struggled on the road this season, picking up seven out of a possible 42 points away from home.

The Rams are without a win in six, in fact six defeats in a row , with their last victory coming against West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day.

Derby County head coach Paul Warne has issued an injury update on Kane Wilson and Dajaune Brown -

Derby County head coach Paul Warne has issued an injury update on Rams duo Kane Wilson and Dajaune Brown.

The pair both suffered injuries during the midweek Championship defeat to Sunderland at Pride Park. And Warne has ruled them both out of action this weekend when Derby face a huge clash towards the bottom of the table against Cardiff City (3pm kick-off).

“There’s no chance I foresee Kane and Dajaune (playing),” he said in his pre-match press conference on Thursday. “Both have got hamstring injuries, both are sore and both are awaiting results on their scans, so I’d be amazed if one or either make it. So those two will be missing.”

Eiran Cashin is expected to return to the Rams’ defence against the Bluebirds after being left out against Sunderland. The decision to omit him from the squad was taken because the club felt he was not ready to play back-to-back matches only a few days apart, having only returned from injury last Saturday against Watford.

Warne also confirmed Ryan Nyambe and on-loan David Ozoh are in contention to return to the squad after injuries.

“I think both are very close to being included in the squad this weekend so that’s really positive,” he said. “We’ll see how they train today. The early signs are really good.”

Derby are one place and one point below Cardiff in the Championship table, in 21st, ahead of their meeting at the Cardiff City Stadium.
