2 WINGERS MISSING

Any news on o'dowda and tanner and do we need another winger,
with el gazi getting back to full fitness and willock is still there and ashford looks decent cutting in from the wing.

Tanner back for Leeds apparently, don't know about O'Dowda.

But yes we definitely need a new winger to compete with Ashford and El Ghazi, who will be first choice when El Ghazi is back to being able to play 90 minutes.

With Tanner knowing leeds are looking at him he might play a blinder for us,
and if he' s shite on the day they may change there mind so a win win maybe for us.

Reckon we could cope without a winger, it's a left back I'd like to see come in more than anything (a bit like that guy we loaned from Man City a while back). If the budget allows though I'd take a winger too only because O'Dowda's and El Ghazi's injury records are not the best.

I think its worth a go, he was about to sign for Coventry on loan but lampard said the deal fell through, maybe we should have a go, he's quick and is a realistic target for a club where we are right now

There was talk of Rabi completing a move to Frank Lampard’s Coventry City but that seems to have broken down…

The positive of that is it means Rangers are willing to unload, so the opportunity to bring him home is there; in theory at least…!

they definitely seem to be moving him on in this window, some reports now saying nantes(of all clubs lol) are now looking at him for a loan,

We’ve got five so how many do we need?

If Ashford and El Ghazi are the main starters - I’m not yet convinced about El Ghazi - then we have Tanner, O’Dowda and Willock as back up.

In this formation we need forwards, IMO Tanner and especially C.O'D are midfielders, neither are particularly deadly nor have the instincts of a striker. Ashford & El Ghazi think more like strikers.

Issak Davies will be interesting in this more adventurous set up.

I am not sure on Montando, all speed no end product, a bit of a Btec Dan James

Don’t forget Isaac Davies is a winger. He’s certainly not a striker - too small.

Tsunoda is back at Kortrijk, Jamilu Collins won’t be seen in a Cardiff shirt again, and COD isn’t a natural left back.

Ng played there yesterday and he struggled.

Bagan is coming on leaps and bounds but we need to have more depth and some competition at left back, even if only to allow cover and allow COD to play his natural position

Yeah defo for another to compete with him.

I'm a big fan of Bagan and would happily play him there but think we need an extra body in that position. I don't rate Collins much and I'd rather O'Dowda and NG stick to their normal positions.

Not certain but I'm sure I read that he was on the same list as Salech so we signed him instead.

Could be because a lot of other Championship clubs are after Jones so price probably bigger than expected.
