Omer Riza: “ We have brought in a permanent Signing and a loan Signing, We are still trying to bring another player in, but we also have to move a couple more out as well.”



So far this January : 8 Cardiff players have gone out to make way for 2 players to come in, to bring another player in it looks like Riza will have to get rid of at least 2 more players, Etete being top of that list.


Riza is desperate to get rid of players to bring in another player.



A few loan exits are in the offing. Kion Etete is of interest to a number of League One clubs, however Bolton are currently leading that particular race, with Cardiff keen to get the forward out and scoring goals again after being injured for the first half of the campaign.

Etete's contract runs out at the end of the season, however if Cardiff offer him a contract then they will be entitled to compensation in the summer should he reject it, because he is under 24.


Kion Etete is likely to go to League One Bolton.

Jamilu Collins will probably leave the club permanently

19th Jan 2025: Striker Wilfried Kanga has this evening been recalled by Hertha BSC.

Kanga made 16 appearances for the Bluebirds during his loan spell scoring 0 goals.





18th Jan 2025: Tom Davies aged 21 leaves Cardiff City on permanent deal and joins Newport County on a Free.



16th Jan 2025: Malachi Michael Fagan-Walcott aged 22 joins York City on a permanent deal ( Free).


6th Jan 2025 Joel Colwill goes out on loan to Exeter City.



6th Jan 2025: It’s agreed Kieron Evans aged 23 given a New one year deal in July last year continues to stay at Newport County till the end of this season when his contract once again runs out.

Ryotaro Tsunoda has re-joined K.V. Kortrijk on loan until the end of the 2024/25 campaign after medical treatment at Cardiff City.
