on bbc saying swansea officials are now receiving death threats from fans

People involved with running Swansea City have received death threats over perceived failings at the club, says Swansea City's Supporters Trust.
The Swans have slipped to 17th in the Championship having collected just one point from their past five games.
The Supporters Trust is calling for an urgent fans' forum, but has also hit out at "unacceptable" abuse.
"We are very aware of a number of personal attacks, vile insults and even death threats that have recently been directed towards many people involved with Swansea City, including their families," the Trust said.

Brilliant news , darling and grimes being sold also , I said at the time of the takeover they have no money ,the new loans were just to stop the club going out of business.

maybe that's why they haven't sacked Williams yet, they probably can't afford to

Darlings contract expires in the summer, he's refused to sign a new contract. They're trying to cash in.
Grimes AND Darling out this month could kill them

Disgraceful some of their "fans" are sending death threats to anyone, hopefully their club identifies them and they are dealt with by the authorities.
Losing both Darling and Grimes will hit them hard. Grimes is one of the best midfielders in the league.
Not much time for them to replace them and sounds like they're unlikely to put the money into the playing squad anyway.
I said on Saturday that they could be dragged into the relegation battle. Some on here said that wouldn't happen, I wonder if they think differently now.

Brilliant.
Grimes will be a big loss to them. I’m actually surprised he’s going to Coventry, I thought someone higher up the league might have been interested.
Darling won’t be missed as much in general but they will miss him against us. He’s a nasty f**ker who always seems to rile our players up to get them booked or sent off.

Hope they fall into the abyss, scummy club and fans

Ned said a week or so ago they could be the club that drops like a stone always one isn't there?

Coventry City have made a third bid for Swansea City captain Matt Grimes.
The Sky Blues have seen two offers rejected by Swansea but remain hopeful of landing the midfielder before the transfer window closes next Monday.
There are suggestions that a bid of between £3.5m and £4m may be enough to convince Swansea to sell.
Grimes signed a contract extension running until 2027 at Swansea last August.
But the 29-year-old can expect a significant pay rise should he make the move to Frank Lampard's Coventry.
The loss of Grimes would leave Swansea even more desperate for new faces before the mid-season transfer comes to an end.

The Swans' squad is already short in various departments, with head coach Luke Williams keen to add an attacking midfielder and a wide player before news of Grimes' potential departure emerged.
Should Grimes be sold, Swansea are also expected to be in the market for another midfield player.
Swansea's only January recruit to date is defender Hannes Delcroix, who signed on loan for the remainder of the season from Burnley last week.
Grimes has made 333 appearances for Swansea, scoring 16 goals, since joining from Exeter City a decade ago this month, establishing himself as a stalwart of the side following the club's relegation from the Premier League in 2018.
Swansea host Coventry this Saturday having slipped to 17th in the Championship after taking only one point from their past five league games.
Coventry are four points better off than Swansea in 12th.

For me the Jacks have enough to stay up.
However it does feel the place is getting worse and worse each season. Under Huw Jenkins they climbed the leagues with pennies. The Yanks came in and seem to asset strip them. Now what are the plans of this new owner?

What's another adminstration to them lot....let the small business fold like they have done twice before....
The penalties for being in administration need to be more severe

They're plan was a 6yr one (chairman statement) where they consolidate and year on year progress to premier league! But problem was they doing it the tan way on cheap ? They've consistently brought in under 23s and lot of loans every season result no consistency... now it looks as if losing experienced players and only a week to replace them so far one loan from Burnley! Certainly not enough .

Swansea City have made a statement on Matt Grimes, confirming they have accepted a transfer bid from a Championship club for him.
Coventry City are understood to have had a third bid accepted for the midfielder. The Sky Blues had two initial offers for the Swans' skipper rejected by the South Wales club but now appear to have secured the services of the 29-year-old.
The Swans’ statement read: “Swansea City has accepted a bid from a Championship club for the transfer of Matt Grimes.
The Swans’ statement read: “Swansea City has accepted a bid from a Championship club for the transfer of Matt Grimes.
“Following discussions, Matt Grimes expressed his desire to move on, and the club has respected his wishes.”
It’s understood there is still some paperwork to be ironed out before the transfer can be rubber stamped, but the move is now expected to go through within the next few days.
Whether it will be completed in time for him to play for the Sky Blues this weekend, where by coincidence they play Swansea at the Swansea.com Stadium, remains to be seen.

They have fallen lucky with always bringing in decent players to be fair
I feel, they are in big trouble now though
Anyone issuing death threats should be tracked down and arrested. A cowardly, disgraceful thing to do
