"I've really enjoyed My first transfer window. “

"It's been quite smooth and I haven't really gotten flustered with anything. There have been disappointments along the way, you hear of things that should have happened and promises along the way, you can't control all those things, but as long as you've got options to replace them you're in a good place.”

"At the moment I think we have brought in two very good players for the future of the club - granted one is on loan, but you never know what could happen further down the line if we finish the season strongly.”

“I have to thank Sri Vincent Tan for his full backing.”

OMER RIZA:

"I don't want to talk about our players who are in the building who might potentially go out. All of these players, whether they leave the building because they potentially want to move back home or do something for their families, or we feel it's the right time for them. We want to make sure we do right by everybody, the club, the player, ourselves as a team, that's the only time a player will move on.“

CARDIFF CITY STAR TO BE THE 9TH PLAYER TO LEAVE IN JANUARY / CUTTING THE WAGES.

Siopis wanted to leave.

Cardiff City star Manolis Siopis undergoes medical with new club ahead of surprise exit

The Bluebirds midfielder is on his way out the door before the transfer deadline

Siopis will leave with NO Fee involved, but he is a high earner cutting the wages dramatically.

Cardiff City midfielder Manolis Siopis is on the brink of sealing a permanent move back to Greece, with Super League giants Panathinaikos closing in on his signature.

The Bluebirds moved heaven and earth to get the Greece international to Cardiff in the summer of 2024, a deal which effectively saw the player buy out his own contract at Trabzonspor to force a move to the Welsh capital and link up with his old Alanyaspor boss Erol Bulut.

Leeds United’s manager is Daniel Farke, who joined the club in July 2023.

Farke started his coaching career as manager of German side SV Lippstadt 08. He spent six years at the club, taking the side from the sixth tier of German football to the fourth tier.

The German boss stepped down from his role at SV Lippstadt 08, before joining Borussia Dortmund II.

He managed the side for two seasons prior to moving to Norwich City. Farke spent over four years at the Canaries, achieving two promotions to the Premier League during his time at the club.

Farke went onto to have spells at Krasnodar and Borussia Mönchengladbach before returning to the Championship to take charge of Leeds United.

Since joining the Whites, the German has a win percentage of 56.98%.

Re: BREAKING OMER RIZA : “ THURSDAY 30TH JANUARY 2025 “

Omer Riza:

“I think we’re in good shape," Omer began. "We’re coming into it off the back of eight games without losing and we’ve moved away from the area we don’t want to be in. Our performances have been ok, the boys are in a good place and we’ve brought in a few additions. I think we’re in the strongest position we can be in going into a game against Leeds. I say it all the time, but we have no other intention than to go there and get a result. That hasn’t changed.

“It’s going to be tough. They’re one of the best sides in the league, if not the best. We’ve got our challenges in front of us, but like with everything, we’ll strategise and we’ll make sure we do our due diligence in and out of possession.

"We’ll try and make sure we go Leeds with a solid, disciplined mindset and I think we’ve got players that can hurt them if they make mistakes. That’s what we’ll be looking for. We know the crowd there as well; if they’re not happy with their own players they can get on top of them, so that’s for Leeds to deal with. We just have to go there and work hard, like we have been, and try and get a result.

"We’re on a good run, the boys are in a good place. We’re coming up against one of the best teams in the league, who can cause you a lot of problems. If you can do it against them, you can do it against anyone - that’s the mindset. That’s how we’ll be approaching the game."

Re: BREAKING OMER RIZA : “ THURSDAY 30TH JANUARY 2025 “

Omer Riza:

On the new signing.

“He’s a very good player, he’s young and hungry. I keep using the word hungry, but that’s who we want in the building. He has good experiences coming from Ajax, has good qualities in and out of possession and he can be a massive part of the team going forwards.

“It’s very good that we’ve got him and he’s definitely going to add to what we’ve got and give us more. The aim is to strengthen with what we bring in and we’ve really pinpointed where we feel we can add to the squad. I feel he can do that. He’s come in, his attitude and character has been at a top level, he gets on well with the players and staff and he’s got to work straight away.

“He trained today and on Tuesday. He doesn’t look like he’s been out. He’s played games with the second team at Ajax and he’s been involved sporadically since his injury. He looks strong, ready to go and that’s what’s important. Hopefully he’ll be involved in the squad in our game against Leeds.”
