Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo has joined German second-tier side Hannover 96 on loan until the end of the season.

He's only played six league games for Rangers this season.

Seems to have ended up a lost soul in the wilderness in his career, moving from club to club. I’m sure he’s done well financially out of it all, but certainly hasn’t fulfilled his potential.

He’s been hit and miss at Ibrox, loads of pace but final ball not great. He’s only on loan to Hanover, so would be available come the summer

He’s not as good as many thought in fact he’s gone down hill rapidly.

He’s already been to quite a few clubs and still only 24 yrs old.

We did well to get money for him off Man City.

Had 3 yrs at Rangers, not much better than Championship and some say he played well other ms say No.
They don’t want him.

Now playing 2nd Division in Germany.

That Man City schoolboy move has set him up for life, thats pretty crazy.

I'd say Rangers or Celtic would do very well in the championship in the good seasons, but the rest are gash, at least L1, so he should be owning those sorts of games but struggles. He is very small so perhaps overseas is where he should play the rest of his career.

Scottish football is Rangers and Celtic playing 10 other teams who park the bus, Matondo has lots of pace but little else, he possibly could do better with Cardiff, where he’d get more space. Also to be fair, he spent more time on the treatment table, than on the pitch at Ibrox. Academic now as he’s in Germany till the Summer at least..
