Kion put pen to paper on a deal which will see him remain in the Welsh capital until the summer of 2027 ahead of a loan switch to League One, with the Trotters currently sitting in seventh position in the third tier table.
Since arriving in South Wales back in 2022, the striker has made 63 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring nine times.
We’d like to wish Kion the best of luck during his time at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Ridiculous decision imo
He's old enough to have made a breakthrough by now. Not good enough for this level, if he was we wouldn't be loaning him out to a league one side. Crazy decision.

I'd have let him go, but I'm not a CEO of a football club.
The loan move is correct. He needs minutes and goals.

All depends on whether anyone wants him. Bit of a gamble if we’re stuck with him.

This is an excellent decision and protects our investment. Kion has potential to be a decent player is still young and needs a run at league one injury free. City now can get money for him so this is far from crazy. Well done to the club

I disagree I think give him a run of games and he will turn out very good ....I think we got rid of glatzel ti soon . I remember there to be a bit if a buzz around when glatzel was coming off the bench ...they both needed a good run of games (only my opinion)

These bigger lads take longer to get going, Chris Wood didn't get going until 24, and Kieffer a bit later.
Visually Kion looks at least 8~10Kgs lighter than Salech, i reckon Salech is closer to the target man we need than Etete. He is mobile so if he can learn to use that he wouldn't necessarily have to fill the target man criteria and a manager looking for a more of an all-rounder may come calling.
For him and us, he needs to be in the shop window and playing
