A forum for all things Cardiff City

Jak Alnwick 2
Was rounded by Dan James for the first goal but made one or two smart saves. Might have done better for Wilfried Gnonto's strike, too.
Andy Rinomhota 2
Struggled to get hold of Junior Firpo's bombing runs down that flank and was booked for a cynical foul just before the break. Tough afternoon.
Dimitrios Goutas 4 (star man)
Played Cardiff into trouble early on with a poor pass but otherwise did OK in the circumstances. Pick of the lot, probably.
Jesper Daland 2
His form has been patchy since arriving and this was just another little dip. Struggled today.
Callum O'Dowda 2
Dan James tore him to ribbons at times - he has done so to many a Championship defender this term - and he brought him down for the penalty for the fourth.
Calum Chambers 3
Had to drop into centre-back midway through the first half in an attempt to stem the flow of Leeds' attack. Struggled like everyone, though.
Joe Ralls 2
A poor outing from the skipper and his midfield partners as the hosts dominated that area of the park. Struggled to make any real impact and got the runaround.
Alex Robertson 3
Same as above, really. Had to drop deeper to get on the ball and even then couldn't really impart his influence on proceedings. Had one strike from distance saved.
Cian Ashford 2
Came into it full of confidence but soon realised the task he was facing. Had to drop deep to track the dangerous Firpo and couldn't get anything going in attack. Off day.
Callum Robinson 3
Didn't have a great deal of service and barely had a sniff at goal. Tough afternoon to be a lone Cardiff City striker, that's for sure.
Anwar El Ghazi 3
Started brightly but then really faded and looked frustrated. Again, it was a tough outing for all City's forwards, quite frankly.
Subs
Yousef Salech (El Ghazi 57) 3
Actually got stuck into the Leeds centre backs but didn't have a sniff, really.
Joel Bagan (Daland 57) 3
Made one or two interventions but couldn't stem the tide.
Sivert Mannsverk (Ralls 67) 4
A debut he will want to forget in a hurry - but he, personally, showed one or two flashes.
Perry Ng (Ashford 67) 3
Sixth goal was slotted in between him and the centre-backs but that's splitting hairs. One of those days.
Will Fish (O'Dowda 81) N/A

I would have given Robinson & El Ghazi both -10 as they were the 2 worse players on the pitch. At least Robinson's arms got a workout from being waved around so much, El Ghazi spent most of the time passing to a Leeds player whenever he touched the ball.

That is back to back poor games from Robertson but pales into insignificance when i look at Robinsons' contribution but the winner has to go to El Ghazi......new contract you are tripping

They've been generous to El Ghazi there.
