Lots banging the we were unbeaten in 8 drum, we were. We’re also 4 wins in 18 or 3 in 6. Stats can be used as you like. The only stat that matters is we are 4 points above the drop & now have 3rd worst GD. Every game from here is huge and tactically Omer needs to improve ..FAST

After yesterday Riza needs to win and win in the next few games, that’s the only way he has to go now

Why not use the whole time he's been in charge then it's a true picture of his results ....but what will it prove? Other coaches got far worse record undoubtedly but they're still in a job..... its one result let's wait and see how team responds before we form the firing squad to give him the bullet.. :?

His job was to avoid relegation.

We're four points clear of the bottom three.

He's doing a great job.

Calm down mate. Yesterday was hard yes. But let’s not get negative. Let’s pull together and support our team they neeed us now more than ever. The fact is performances have been improving we have in my option strengthen the squad and a couple of players still to come back that make us better.

It’s to easy to be negative and point out mistakes after the event we can all do that, what is tough is sucking it up and supporting our club, which doesn’t mean you support the board.

Ned,

Riza was here from day one, he took charge after only 6 games, fore he’s already had 68 pts to play with him.

If that’s how we see our Club let’s stay up then we have NO Ambition at all.

We are still in a relegation battle because of his inexperience and awful management

Instead of looking for the negatives like you are there, let’s flip it.

We were rooted to the bottom of the league when Riza took over.

Now we aren’t. Now we are out of the relegation zone and bringing in younger better players.

He’s inexperienced yes but he’s doing the job he was brought in to do.

Leeds were unbeaten in 11 or more at the same time - and still are - both points made by myself at the time ...

What is their positive about Saturday, please tell me?

As to Riza, great bloke, love his passion but his inexperience will keep us down there as it’s proved.

He managed some two bob non league team called chesthut which he won 12 games out of 49 then Leyton orient where he won 1 game out of 7 before being sacked twice.

Does that not tell anyone anything for me it shows cheap and anyone will do. This is a big job for his CV if he's going to manage in the future but it also shows how the clubs run and ambition within.

He may be a coach at clubs before but it won't make him a good manager if you go off results. Either way we go with what's there but things can either get worse or better so we shall see. The current idiots at the top are not helping at all let's be honest riza is a puppet for them but that's his pay grade I guess so we can only support him and the team while he's here :bluescarf:

Our unbeaten run rather hid the fact that we have got into the habit of starting games very poorly and even though it was 8 games unbeaten it was only 4 wins in 18 games.

After the defeat at Oxford, we did score early at Watford, in the home game v Coventry and in the Cup at Sheffield United and recovered quickly to equalise after Middlesbrough went ahead early on.

Since then though, we took a long time to get going against the jacks, conceded within little more than a minute at Millwall, Derby had a decent chance in the first minute before going on to have the better of the opening half against a very sluggish City team and we were 2-0 down after 13 minutes on Saturday.

For all that we were up against a superb side on Saturday, we’re starting poorly against ordinary Championship teams and we cannot do that away at Pompey.

There isn’t a positive from the Leeds game I’ll agree with that, it was a very long trip back home and a game I wish I hadn’t bothered with.

But they are a class above and ultimately Riza has got us off the bottom and out of the relegation zone.

He’s inexperienced and has a LOT to learn, but at least we don’t have Bulut anymore

100% Agree Leeds are Class and were Class, BUT their is NO Excuse to lose 7-0 and Leeds usually just Win games by the odd goals and they certainly don’t score 5,6 and and incredible 7 goals against other Championship sides.

I agree Riza is learning and don’t blame him for taking the Job and I want him to Succeed , But I honestly do not see Riza taking us to the Play off this season or next season.

Riza was here from day one, knew the Squad inside out and took over after just 6 games, it’s not like We were Bottom in April or even January when he took over.

Plus he’s only WON 3 OUT OF OUR LAST 17 CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES / ON THAT FORM WE WILL BE FIGHTING A RELEGATION BATTLE RIGHT UP THE END OF THE SEASON.

Experience was needed if WE are an Ambitious Club.

100% not against Riza personally.

I think play offs is off the cards this season, I’d be happy just staying up this smear, which goes to show how far we have fallen as a club.

I do agree he probably isnt going to get us to play offs next season if he’s here, but I’d like to be proven wrong

The big issues I had Saturday was more so about the players. They looked like they gave up, the fight that Riza has put into the team lately just wasn’t there.

I went there not expecting us to get anything out of the game but I certainly didn’t expect 7-0.

Riza should take part of the blame though, he was setting up to play an attacking game I’m presuming with El Ghazi and Ashford, but we were away at the best team in the league, we should have set up to limit the damage and try to get them on the counter.

Onwards and upwards anyway.

Fair shout on everything you’ve said.

But it can be done just look at QPR / MILLWALL both were seriously in trouble now not far from the play offs.

Just need a proper Winning run, Riza goes for draws most of the time.

The game highlighted an inexperienced manager. Live and learn.
