BBC reporting no more signings likely, but things can change - Riza was looking to add one more
Updated
In addition to Will Alves, Cardiff City expect to make at least one more signing before the 11pm deadline.
Two more could possibly come in.

Hopefully you’re right but I don’t think so.

Let's see. I'll be shocked if at least one more doesn't come in.

Nice to know we are aiming for two more, it may not happen like every transfer but at least they are trying
Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:43 am
That would be nice.
All those coming in seem to be good and 'first team' options. Not unhappy about any of the players leaving so another 1 or 2 in would be a bonus.
Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:07 pm
Feels like decent signings so far. Another two would give us a good match day squad.
Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:17 pm
Good transfer window for us so far.
Would like a couple more permanent signings rather than loans, but that's always hard in January.

Same story every window Ned.
We are clearly done imho
And have been since last friday
Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:17 pm
I think we should be happy with the three signings made this window; particularly when we thought we would spend no money and sign no one
Sale he looks a handful already and could be the ‘
bully’ centre forward we’ve needed for a couple of seasons; and if so, he will free up the likes of Robinson and Ashford to sweep up the havoc he creates
Mannsvert looks to be a very good capture and showed some decent moves in that disappointing loss to Leeds
Will Alves has ‘promise’ and is highly thought of by Leicester City and their supporters. He is what we need out wide and so a spell here could benefit both clubs
With a number of players returning over the next few weeks, this could be the boost we need to be one of the better performers over the second half of the season

With siopis going out and others we have not really levelled it out with incomings for me who will actually start weekly I don't get why we sign some youngster from another club unless he's starting weekly ain't the transfer window about signing these players so there better than what's here so to speak so they should be starting. We are in this mess due to the current lot and managers that's the bottom line.
If we don't get another one or two in who can actually start weekly and better than what we have currently not some kid who may come on as a sub then we will be fighting till the very ends to try stay up I think.
Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:20 pm
we will be relegated thsi season look at tans other club fighting relegation every season
Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:44 pm
Bit disappointed myself I felt like we needed one or 2 more players especially upfront got Robinson playing with an injury and salech looks decent but I think it’s hard for him to be thrown straight in every week, let’s hope the club have made the right call and we don’t look back in a few weeks and go we should have signed more players
Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:56 pm
Personally felt like we needed a left back and striker, hopefully we have enough to stay up this year
Mon Feb 03, 2025 7:57 pm
Pity as grant wants to leave we could not give him a home

As I said on a couple of threads nothing was happening today.
My info is from an immaculate source but of course we never know 100%.

Spot on and I think we’ve done pretty well all things considered.

only time will tell how well we did recruiting players on us staying up this season if relegation then total failure

Grant was never a possibility after signing Alves.
Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:32 pm
I don’t know, sounds like a few rumours circulating online we might be making a late move for Grant.

Can we sighn Out of contract players?

Only if they were out of contract by 11pm tonight.
If a player is released after then, they can't sign until the summer.

As I said, this was generally a good window; remembering January is never easy with clubs either not wanting to let go or (traditionally) playing hard with players they don’t really want
The three players signed are what I would call ‘
good business’ and like OriginalGrangeEndBlue, I was told ‘
that would be it’ and that Karlan Grant was ‘
never on the list’
After thinking we would be lucky to sign anyone this window, grateful is a word that comes easily to me!

Yes mate, the amount of people saying we were never going to sign anyone or spend any money were proved wrong.
Potentially it looks a very decent window but only time will tell.
