Poll: Rate our Window

Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:25 am

Out of 10, how would you rate it?

A lot more players went out than came in, but we knew that was going to be the case and we needed rid of a lot off the wage bill.

Apart from Sio, the outgoing players weren’t going to be involved, even with Sio I thought it was the right time for him to leave.

It’ll be good to see Reindorf in L1 and see what he’s like at the end of the season.

As for incomings, I’m rather happy with them, although a LB would have been nice.

Salech has started well and looks like what we have been missing.

Mannsverk is a very good signing. If it wasn’t for his injury, he would be nowhere near Cardiff City. Him alongside Chambers with Ralls as a backup could be crucial in us staying up.

The young lad from Leicester is unproven but he brings us one thing we have been massively missing. Pace.

Would have been nice to see JC leave but who would take him?

Overall, a good window for us.

A solid 7 out of 10 for me.

I will give it a 8 out of 10

Only time will tell really, our best Jan window in recent years has to be Steve Morisons first one, Drameh, Doyle, Doughty, Hugil, Uche.

hopefully these lads have the same impact

Re: Rate our Window

7.5

Re: Rate our Window

Tue Feb 04, 2025 1:08 pm

6 out of 10 for me could have done more given our position near the bottom and teams around us getting 4/7/8 players in not suggesting 8 players before i get jumped on.

Re: Rate our Window

For me i'll reserve judgement until the three of them have played a couple of full 90 minute games.

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

7 for me, decent signings but two are loans which we will have to replace come the summer.

It will be good to get rid of some of the dead wood and bigger earners in the summer and get some new blood in.

We also did good business with the new contracts, we need to get Goutas signed up next.

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

I agree, 7/10 for me.

Three good additions.

People said we needed two things - a striker and pace. We've got them, so they shouldn't really be complaining.

Mannsverk is a top quality player and fans who don't know him will see that.

A good window and I now believe we will stay up comfortably.

Riza should get credit then.

I gave an 8, best transfer winds in ten years, got rid of dead wood, brought in class and now we can plan for a great future. Can see nothing but success now, well done Riza and Tan.

With you Worcester, we need all these positions filled, we went out got the best and still these fans moan. Very fickle fans, Tan and Riza should be praised. Class players signed.

A solid 8 for me, we have really pushed the boat out. Excited by this and fickle fans should thank Tan and Riza.

Paul,

Totally agree with you 1,000% , But we are apparently being negative, fickle for not saying great signings, even though we’ve not seen any one of them play a full Championship game.

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

Tue Feb 04, 2025 2:50 pm

4/10

We needed an ambitious window considering the state we're in.

All of the players we've got in have question marks over how good they'll actually be. Saying that I do like Salech.

If the board had any sense, we would've been going for well known Championship/Scottish Prem players.

But they want a top 2 finish on a shoestring budget, so what can you do.

Tan Out.

Paul,

Unbelievable it will be the usual suspects coming on here to make us look negative fans and that everything is fantastic on and off the pitch.

We’ve just lost 7-0 only won 3 of our last 17 Championship games, in yet another relegation battle and over all spent ZERO.

For these usual lot their Ambition is to just about staying in the Championship

Our home crowds are going down, our away support has started to become the worst in the Championship, funny yet they make out everything is Positive and Rosie.

An unknown striker to most a kid who if was as good as you say would be in leicesters starting 11 and all things about the midfield guy have probably been watched on utube and then passed a comment,
unless of course they have been over watching him play. Mist of us fickles will make our .inds up when we see them play but its streching it a bit to say we went out and got the best ffs.

or you have looked at the transfer logically well done budd

Re: Poll: Rate our Window

Having known nothing about any of the players we have brought in I am not sure what to think They have no real proven track record to shout about.
It does seem that some people believe that the two loan players are class players but i am not sure what that is based on as I doubt not many of us have actually seen them play

I'm suprised we've got any away support considering how shambolick our away record is, we are into February and only one away win all season.

Considering virtually none of us fans have seen these players play before I’d say this is the most sensible post.
It’s all a case of let’s see.

From what I’ve read of the players and the potential I’d rate it a solid 7.
Salech is not quite fit and up to speed yet but I don’t know the match fitness of our new signings.

Are you serious these are three of the best signings seen outside the Premiership.
Don’t be negative man, we need to rejoice.

We won't see all three start a league game at the same time I bet that's what I don't get about signing players if there not actually better than what you got because if they don't then what was the point in the first place. A striker who's been a sub to date who should come good with starting games. Some young winger kid who's played 1 cup game before for Leicester and some midfielder who's been injured but loaned to us. There's Zero championship experience between them but we shall see if the puppets spokesmans of its all's good comes true

We all want them to do well and win every game but if being a realist which the above is deemed as negative then I couldnt give a flying f**k tbh :bluescarf:
