I would point out that all our owners since then have ignored the request to have it back and not just the current regime

Absolutely loved that kit. The first time I saw them they wore that. I had a replica for my games kit in school. Not many replicas around in mid 70s

I had the full replica kit, I've still got the socks.![]()
100% the best kit we've had. My son's 26 and he loves it too.
If we'd played in that kit this season they would have had record sales.

I seem to remember a few teams had the stripe down the front side in those years, Luton (white with an orange stripe) and others.
Yes pity the heirachy do not listen, considering it is an anniversary year ? maybe a nice little money spinner too for Mr Tan & Co.
Evans and Alston Almost Guarenteed to score - ah well, rose tinted glasses and all that eh !!!

Some proper Bluebird ‘legends’ in there for me; starting with Phil ‘Joe’ Dwyer, John ‘Exocet’ Buchanan, and Bill Irwin!![]()

The Wales kit was red with yellow & green stripes if I remember correctly.
