Thread on another site about pubs got me thinking
What’s the worst/roughest boozer, you’ve ever been in. Personally I reckon the Newfound Out across from Newport Station was, an old cider house where the only bevy available was dry scrumpy, sweet scrumpy or Strongbow for the sophisticates.
Toilet was a hole in the ground and the clientele was eclectic.

The White Harr in Torquay. Rough cider, say no more.

Imperial Gardens in Camberwell back in the 90s after a clubnight in Stamford Bridge of all venues. It's nickname was "The Gunshop", I'm no shrinking violet but I spent an hour in there and then left before being either shot, stabbed, macheted or all three as a north Londoner in South London bandit country. Very moody and full of gangs.

We used to go in there in the early 80's before the nightclubs, it was a real eye opener.
