Tony Book funeral

So as many of you know I live in Wigan and found myself in Swinton, Manchester today - so I decided to make a slight detour to the St Marys of Magdalene Church in Sale, Manchester to watch the funeral of former Cardiff City Assistant Manager Tony Book from across the road from the church.

Tony was our Assistant Manager for three months in late 1980 before returning to Man City a club where he spent the majority of his career.

There was a good turn off people going inside the church and I am sure his family would have welcomed the support of fans who showed their appreciation from the outside.

I am not sure but I think Tony book was born or lived in hengoed
