Verbal abuse at Bristol striker Armstrong

Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:59 pm

Armstrong took some disgusting verbal abuse from a Cardiff fan in the first half in the canton stand and I gotta say it was disgusting and embarrassing, I thought Armstrong was gonna do a cantona and take the guys head off the way he glared at him for a eternity , actually I wish he did ,
Some fans need to grow up

About par for the course judging by the idiots who stand around me. The guy who said it probably thought it was normal, that's the level the so called "banter" has go to these days.

Just posted elsewhere this is reason won't change home fans to next to away fans it will make such situations worse unquestionably.. I see there's at least 2 incidents of abuse being investigated from yesterday? What I was wondering is calling someone white when abusing them is it same as calling someone black and if the reaction be different? As kerr (non white) did recently

We'll find not guilty of using racism at White policeman but the question is if you called a policeman black would it be treated differently? Well the reaction would be Diane abbot screaming racist plus any organisation looking to boost their membership will use race card... personally no its not racism either way ...

I think all of those types of songs are awful and cringeworthy. Whats happened to the ‘clever’ songs?
I like the ‘Robinson again ole ole’ atm which is starting to be used by Salech now :bluescarf:

Yes I agree. What ever your thoughts are on the royal family that’s out of order imo. Pathetic attempt at an answer for the opposition singing the English anthem.

I started a thread on here several weeks ago posting some good new songs. All simple and very easy to learn and supporting our players. The thread has so far received one response. One. Never mind eh, we’ll just keep on singing boring songs about England losing a game a couple of years ago and singing about the jacks, even when we’re not even playing them.
