What is it?

For me, it's this:

Horvath
Rinomhota Goutas Bagan O'Dowda
Chambers Mannsverk
Tanner Ramsey Alves
Salech

Totally not with you on this

Having just watched Ramsey boss a game from a deeper quarterback position, why would you feel he would be better in an advanced role where he has been totally ineffectual to date.

Rinomhota not for me. Murdered by Koumas and Murphy at right back and too slow and ponderous in midfield.

You've left out our best midfielder in Robertson and our most creative player in Colwill

And as for leaving Ashford out, almost as ridiculous as our manager's decision today. Tanner is fine but Ashford has more goals and assists in him

Its with a heavy heart I leave Chambers out but I'm sure he'd feature when injuries strike. Playing Chambers and Mannsverk who individually I like is far too defensive and as we have a weakish defence we cant afford to play defensively, we need to be on the front foot.

I too like Bagan as CB but it does leave us a light in the air. Would Chambers be up to playing RB.

Agree now on Salech before Robinson

Allnwick or Horvath is Hobsons choice

Allnwick
Ng Goutas Bagan O'Dowda
Ramsey Robertson
Ashford Colwill Alves
Salech

Is this question based on everyone being fit and match ready?

If so it completely changes things, and you can’t leave Robertson out of the fold.

I would say the below if based on all fit:

Horvath

Ng Goutas Bagan ODowda

Chambers Mannsverk

Tanner Robertson Alves

Salech

Actually shouldn't have left Robertson out - he's our best technical player.

Would start him ahead of Ramsey.

But the rest I stand by.

I would go for

Alnwick
Rino Goutas Daland Bagan
Mannsverk Robertson
Rambo
Tanner Salech Alves

Reason for Bagan at LB is due to O’Dowda being such a liability there this season, although I think Bagan done superbly today and deserves to be starting alongside Dimi.
Midfield is play our best ball players as all 3 of them can play as a 6, 8 or 10. In the games Rambo doesn’t play put Rubin in at 10.
For the wingers I’ve gone for youth and pace, I love Tanners passion everytime he plays too. And Alves looks like a great pick up. But I wouldn’t be against Ashford or Davies when fit starting.
Striker I think speaks for itself, Robinson is one of the most unlikeable players we’ve had at city for years. Scored some important goals this season but his performances are always bad and he’s often like a spoilt brat. He can be a passenger most games and offer nothing, and being in our position at the bottom we can’t afford any passengers.

It's nice to have options in our midfield now that don't severely weaken us when we need to make changes

——————Hovarth———————
Rino——Goutas——Fish——Bagan
———Ramsey——Chambers———
Alves———————————O’Dowda
——— Ashford——- Salech————

I know 442 but I’d really like to see Ashford off Salech…

Suprised most of you are leaving Robertson out, for me he has to start alongside Chambers.

I think the present day Ramsey and Colwill's lack of a position doesn't align with standard systems (as if anyone plays a standard system).

I think both need to roam and drop deeper to get onto the ball, it's one or the other, so we need a sitter who will not follow the ball, so i guess thats chambers but Mannserk looks like he could do a great job.

If its Rambo/ Colwill and a sitter we need a runner so thats Robertson or Mannswek with Ralls as the back up.

Up top Salech is my starter with Ashord and Alves (already) as my wide attack.

Back 4 I am happy with NG/Rinomhota Gouta Fish and Bagan

O'Dowda gives us go forward momentum and what a great guy to have as he plays a few positions well

Either GK, they are both below top 6 standard
Rino Goutas Bagan O'Dowda
Mannsverk Chambers
Tanner Robertson Willock
Salech

I see GK, RB, CB, LB, LW all being 'bottom 6' standard.

Robbo - Impact at #10, NOT a '60 min guaranteed swap for Salech'.

Fans saying Horvath is our best keeper have very short memories. He was horrendous before he got dropped for Alnwick.

Wouldn't disagree but my theory would be that he now deserves another chance to see if hes learnt from his mistakes. :bluescarf:
