Omer Riza:

Riza on injuries:

‘Joe Ralls is back with the squad, Ollie Tanner is out of his boot and David Turnbull is warming up with the team now. Calum Chambers is feeling better, Alex Robertson has a hamstring problem and Isaak Davies is in training. He’s up for selection in the squad.”

Nothing less than a Win for Cardiff

After Only 3 Wins in 19 League Games:
Dropping 40 points out of 57 points.

TEAM NEWS:

Ramsey ready to start.

Isaak Davies is getting fitter.

Turnbul March to get back.

"Jesper has had his scans. He had his stitches, he had eight stitches in his shin," Riza said of the defender. "Hopefully they will come out on Saturday or Monday, then the healing process of that, however long that takes, it's in an awkward position.

"Yakou [Meite] is back training, he has trained with the squad, fully, he was injured with his thigh, but he is back training now and back in contention to be selected.

"Ollie [Tanner] has got a fracture in the foot, he has been in a boot. He has been in that since he got injured, decisions about whether he will come out of the boot are going to take place in the next few days and then he will start his rehab thereafter, so it will be a bit of time before Ollie is back."

My team would be (providing they are all fit!)

Alnwick
NG Goutas Fish Bagan
Colwill Mannsverk Ramsey
Alves Salech O’Dowda

Definite reserves:- Horvath, Daland (if not fit Lawlor), Rinomohta, Robertson, Robinson and Meite, El Ghazi

If fit, Robertson could start for Ramsey, and the latter come on for him or Mannsverk after 60 mins.

Oddly Plymouth are away at Luton on Wednesday in a single midweek Championship fixture. Huge fixture at the bottom of the table and not much recovery time for them before their lunchtime kick off against City so this may be a possible advantage to us with a week off.

Sorry to be negative but I can only see a Plymouth win here, Riza will again pick the wrong team, have not got much faith in our defence either, The Plymouth crowd will get them going from kick off.
I really hope I am wrong.

I really don't want to say this but I only see a plymouth win .We've won one away all season .We don't travel well and everyone plays with more urgency than us .I'm usually very optimistic but I've watched us all season for the most part we've been sub standard. I REALLY hope I am wrong here

Plymouth Argyle face a crucial Championship clash with relegation rivals Luton Town on Wednesday night, but they will likely have to go without in-form striker Ryan Hardie.

Wednesday night's action at Kenilworth Road pits the bottom of the table Hatters up against second-bottom Argyle, and the hosts would leapfrog their opponents with a victory.

Meanwhile, victory for Miron Muslic's men would see them climb out of the Championship relegation zone at the expense of Hull City, who drew 1-1 with Norwich City on Saturday.

Argyle suffered a 2-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on the weekend, but the most worrying sight for the Plymouth faithful came just 19 minutes into that clash, when Hardie was removed from the action due to injury.

It appears that Hardie will not be making it back for the relegation six-pointer clash with Luton on Wednesday, in what is set to be a major blow for the Pilgrims.

Argyle manager Muslic told the press at Monday lunchtime: "He (Hardie) was not able today to walk, so the time is absolutely against us for Wednesday, but we will also not try to over pace his recovery and to push, because I think Ryan is just in very good form and we will need him.

"There are still a lot of games to play, but we are running a little bit out of time for Wednesday.

Plymouth Argyle boss Miron Muslic has said Malachi Boateng is ‘very close’ to getting into his team.

Plymouth Argyle swooped to sign him in the January transfer window. He has had to bide his time for opportunities with PAFC though due to a lack of training.

Boateng, 22, signed for the Pilgrims this winter from Hearts. He has since played once for his new team in their FA Cup win over Liverpool.

Muslic has said, as per a report by PlymouthLive: “The only little issue that we just go from game to game, we don’t have training time and there are a lot of things he has to understand tactically. He just purely missed this right now due to the heavy schedule.

“We have actually more recovery sessions than real sessions. We are playing game by game and it will just take him a little bit of time. He misses simply pitch time and sessions.”

He added: “He’s very close to the team. As soon as we have a clean week that will be his next step towards the starting 11 and towards being selectable.”

Plymouth Argyle head coach Miron Muslic has claimed his side are "improving in a million things" after Wednesday night's 1-1 draw at Luton Town.

In a fixture between two of the Championship's strugglers, Jacob Brown opened the scoring for Luton just 13 seconds after coming on as a substitute while Ukraine international Maksym Talovierov equalised at 70 minutes.

"I think we are generally improving in a million things and that just leads naturally to a stabilised team," said Muslic to BBC Radio Devon.

"If you are stable, you are way more competitive and you can collect points. Not only at home but especially away."

Plymouth currently have the worst away record in the Championship this season and before Muslic's arrival had three draws and 11 losses on the road.

Under the Austrian coach however, the Devon club have picked up two points from three away fixtures since his appointment, with draws at Sunderland and Luton coming either side of a defeat at Blackburn Rovers.
Muslic understands that a change in results will be needed should Argyle survive relegation.

"I'm completely aware of the terrible record we have away but these are also things you can change and turn around," he added.

"It was not easy tonight, it was also not easy in Sunderland just three weeks ago but I think we're getting closer to being more competitive not only at home.

"We will need to collect those points away to stay up."

Plymouth return to Home Park this Saturday against fellow strugglers Cardiff City and Muslic's side could climb out of the relegation places for the first time since November if they beat the Bluebirds.

"It will be massive if we perform well against Cardiff. Home Park, fortress, that is the plan," added Muslic.
