Permanently banned for doing nothing?

Tue Feb 18, 2025 9:59 am

This forum is a joke.
I’ve been a member of this forum for ten or more years and was also an active member of the old 606 forum and I notice today that my account kav_8 has been permanently banned? For what? Who has this right to do this it’s an absolute farce to silence fans I don’t know how one person thinks they have a right to do this to another and to isolate people from their football club.

Please explain yourself forever blue.
This has happened in the past I’d like the account re-instated this isn’t a dictatorship it’s an open forum between Cardiff fans
Embarrassing how this forum is ran honestly.

Im assuming this will have been the comment that brought the ban:

Forever blue is a negative it’s positive today
Riza may not be a tactical genius but the squads good enough to keep us up.

——-

Real nasty stuff right?
Got responses from some fans none were offended
Kim Jung-Forever Blue silencing opinions.
Please reinstate kav_8 I’m sick of this I’m due an apology too.

Well I will let Annis reply to this but if anyone came into my house and started calling me names they would be shown the door.

Just what do you think your post was going to do. You should never be let back in. Annis is more forgiving than me. But I would not let you back in. Just what did you think would happen?

Can’t believe the comments above.
Disappointing to say the least but I’ve no doubt the few comments above are not reflective of the overall fan base.
Why should calling someone negative in relation to football warrant being silenced/blocked/removed.
It’s poor form.
If we all shared the same view there would be no need for a forum.
But to silence or cast away a fellow Cardiff fan for sharing a different viewpoint is very disappointing.

Its not the viewpoint but the name calling. We have a variety of opinions that arte allowed to be posted on here. Its the name calling that we dislike. Refering someone as a tinpot dictator aka that North Korean leader is quite insulting don't you think.

First Leggy / Kav and numerous other names you have on here.

As some have said we need to get rid of those with multiple names.

The name calling your other one of many names did was well out of order to other posters.

End off please go somewhere else.

Debate’s welcome without personal name calling.

Actually it’s not.

The person name calling was all deleted by me.

Then i realised your using different names to mock and name call other posters.

If you can reassure that wont happen again, then your welcome on here.

I’ve had my disagreements with many on this forum.

That being said the majority of the times I’ve had a few too many sherbets and apologised.

But calling someone Kim Jong isn’t exactly the best way to get things rectified.

Disagreements are fine, it’s what makes the forum so good. We all have our favourite players etc but there’s absolutely no need to be abusive in any way.

Re: Permanently banned for doing nothing?

I think there are two things we need to remember when we post on a public forum:

1) We have a common interest - we all support Cardiff City and;
2) Some of us (me included) suffer from depression and also (me included as well) have some serious personal issues happening in their lives.

I think everyone should remember that when we post on this MB; people do have issues happening in their lives and, even a little bit of name calling, can be enough to "tip someone over the edge".

With such a diverse audience we are not always going to agree with each other but I would ask "Don't be that person who tips a fellow supporter over the edge".

Disagree by all means but try to disagree and put a smile on someone else's face and make them feel good.

Neil, given previous circumstances, I’m not too sure why you’re chipping in on the matter without anything constructive to say? :?

Previous circumstances? Go on!!

Name calling is not allowed unless it’s about Tan then is what you are saying? Or jacks? Or Bristol city fans? Or Wayne Nash? Or Dalman? Or Choo??

Okay, so I’ve stayed on a watching brief so far but now is the time to put a few things straight…

You have previously been removed from this Forum under the name ‘Kav_8’ and we had amicable exchanges under your alternate name of ‘Leggy11’ via pm where you pleaded your case and were reinstated not without some hard work convincing the Admins of this Forum that you and the Forum were better off knowing who you were

Since then, I have generally noticed your ‘Kav_8’ posts and cannot say I’ve seen anything too untoward in any of them up to this point

However, having missed a lot of this last weekend’s on-Forum traffic, I am unsure if what you say was the ‘offending’ post was what you wrote in your OP above but it has been suggested there are/were other things written that were removed by Admins?

What is indisputable is that your OP here is not great. It is pretty offensive towards one person and the choice of language used is less than courteous and hardly likely to encourage a conciliatory conversation

You ask for an apology from Forever Blue?

Perhaps an apology from you to him for your very publicly angry and crass wording (why not pm him?) is the more appropriate course of action and from that point your ‘Kav_8’ name may be salvaged again?

As someone else wrote, we may not always agree (as a Forum) but there are standards and limitations that must be upheld for legal and moral reasons that we cannot (and will not) tolerate

I hope it gets sorted but I think the first conciliatory move has to be made by you on this occasion even if via ‘pm’ to the person you have so clearly offended above :ayatollah:

I can confirm I am not Kav 8 or leggy11.

Wasn’t leggy number 3?
