Salech or Robinson?

Riza said after the game that Robinson will likely be back in contention for the Hull game.

His injury was minor and it's hoped Plymouth was the only game he'd miss.

Would you start him ahead of Salech on Tuesday?

Personally I wouldn't, I'd want to start both of them.

I have my issues with Robinson, namely his attitude, but he obviously has quality and we need to attack from the first whistle.

But also think that Salech shouldn't be dropped. He'd been dubbed a super sub recently but he showed today he can score goals playing from the start as well - did the same at Stoke in the cup.

Offers something different too, he physically completes with defenders in a way that none of our other attacking players can.


So I would find a way to play them together.

With Robertson still out, Ramsey being rested and colwill starting today I'd start robbo in the 10 with salech in front of him Tuesday

It ain't rocket science is it? We need to occupy opposition defenders so having one or other on the field isn't going to cut it.

We are desperate to get some wins and score goals, so play both together. Maybe even try 442 at home - personally, I don't get it why we haven't done already.

I said Salech but I was a little quick with that & didn't notice the both option was there otherwise I would have gone with both & as has been said above either put them both up front or Robinson in the 10 just behind Salech. The guy can obviously score goals and we may well have a gem on our hands.

If we play Robinson as the second striker then we lose a midfielder and lets be honest, Robinson runs around a lot without actually stealing the ball, even Rubin accidentally tackled yesterday and won the ball for our goal, in 2.5 seasons i can't recall Robinson going into contact.

Even with my reservations, i'd play him as the second striker but i'd move Odowda into midfield and shock Hull by going old school 442.

So glad you put a both option. By far and away the best option. Both are gonna get us more goals and bring the best out of each other.

I'd be tempted to go with wingbacks, 3 in midfield and Robbo and Salech up front.

Very unlucky yesterday to get Goutas sent off. Otherwise it would have underlined the fact that we play better without Robinson. Then Riza might have realized that!
Out of possession he does very little. (Ruben C does a little more but not a lot).
Up till then it was 11 v 11.

We did very well to get 3 decent players in the window. (Shame about Robbos 2 yeat extension). Also Davies did well in his cameo at the end. So we have sufficient options. Plenty ofpositives.
Leaing Colwell and Robinsonbon the bench - thats the way forward.

I'd play the 2 of them, Robinson getting closer to Salech, Salech winning alot of balls in the air.
