We Will Beat Hull ! :
Hull are nothing special . I would not want to sign any of their players to improve our team . Defensively they are tighter than us but their offense is not so good .
I believe that in Mannsverk , Alves , Salech and Ramsy we have too much for them .
Yes Ramsy May not play a full game …. and yes we will miss Goutas ….and probably Alnwick …and possibly Daland …….but Horvath is a match for Alnwick …..and NG and Began were very solid when we were down to ten men against Plymouth . This is a must win game for both teams ….but I feel confident that we will get all 3 points .
Could I end with egg on my face ? Sure !
But I bet that we will rise to the occasion . Is this wishful thinking ? Is it desperation before a tough program in March ?

Have to win.
I'll take the draw today because of the red card.
But even I will criticise Riza if we don't win on Tuesday.

Annis, today Hull were the first team to win at Sunderland all season, they are no mugs.

Which I was optimistic because I don’t fancy us to win Tuesday we’ve bottled these type of games all season

My only concern is that Hull have won 5 of their last 6 away games
Sun Feb 23, 2025 9:00 am
I’m not optimistic for this game Ramsey can’t play so many minutes after playing 100 plus minutes on Saturday bagan injured alnick injured daland injured so we have ralls possibly Robinson back
I’m not so sure hopefully Robertson will be back I haven’t got faith in Riza and I know I’m a stale record but I look at teams who were down with us qpr Portsmouth they’ve gone on runs our run was draws mainly so important three points

And if they had lost their last 6 games, we would say they will break their bad run aganst US.
They are down with us and we are home and need a Win

I think we will lose and it will be the defining point as we head for league one. I said we needed at least seven points from these games we’ve got two.
Sorry for the negativity, hope I’m wrong but I just can’t see it.
Ramsey won’t play, 105 minutes yesterday.
I predicted at the start of the season virtually nil points from the first ten and…. Hope I’m wrong this time!

We have winnable games but not if they don't take thr breaks off. We are passive and seem terrified to take control of games. We defend abysmally as a team. Defence needs to start from thr front and then back but we don't. I believe we are capable of staying up and would rather be ahead of thr game but we can't keep relying on teams around us dropping points. They need to fight and boss games. If they don't we are down. Because Derby Luton and Plymouth will chuck everything in to a fight. We try and play preyyu football but it's ineffective right now. We have added some grit and skill in midfield. We have added a striker. We have added pace. For God sake use them.

Even with ten men yesterday the game was there for the taking.
Riza didn't have a clue how to set up apart from everyone behind the ball with no outlet up top

Am not confident at all.
There are 2 clubs down at the bottom who simple should not be there, Hull and Luton. I'm expecting both clubs to put a run together and overtake us. We have got to play both at home and if we cannot beat them then all I can see is us going down.
Sun Feb 23, 2025 11:49 am
Hull is definitely the first "must win" at this stage in the season. I really fear for us if we lose this one.
A minimum of 4 wins out of 13 will keep us up. This needs to be 1 of them.
Sun Feb 23, 2025 12:01 pm
Timid set up of team will get us relegated at some point you can expect at least one of Bottom 3 to get couple of wins afterall others like Portsmouth have but as we've seen in last 20 games and lost just 5/6 but still at Bottom ....it shows Bottom 3 have won more than drew in that period because they're within couple of points of us despite our losses being so few.. 2 wins together will go a long way to being safe but no sighn of us achieving this .

Luton 2-0 down at Watford at half time.

a win on Tuesday will put us six points clear of the bottom 3 it's in our own hands let's hope RIZA set's us up to go at them come on CITY

FT 2 nil.... Luton commentators say they are down as can't see them winning 4 or 5 games needed to have chance of survival.

I really hope we win, but you know how it goes. We usually lose these games
Mon Feb 24, 2025 11:40 am
Goutas suspended a lot of injuries, the players coming into the team need to take their chance and keep the shirt, a narrow 2-1 win, with a nervy end to the game.

I hope I am wrong but I see another draw at best, recently they have won 1 0 at Sunderland and Blackburn and 3 0 at Sheffield utd. I really fear for us....prove me wrong city
