Taking the missus to Villa its our first (hopefully of many) bluebirds away trip. What can we expect in terms of facilities & atmosphere?

Cheers

Great atmosphere. Old school ground. Noisy supporters in the lower North Stand next to the away end, as well as in the Holte End at the opposite end of the stadium. You'll enjoy it. :ayatollah:

usually a great atmosphere at villa park especially night games .

mind you Chelsea fans complaining of over zeolous stewarding over the weekend .a few got taken out for standing on seats etc which was over social media last few days

can't see 6,000 city fans sitting down all game on Friday night !!

Villa Park is one of my favourite away grounds to go to, and not just because it's relatively close to my location.

Always a good atmosphere and easy for everyone to get to by car or public transport.

Plenty of decent places to have food/drink before the game.

Looking forward to Friday.

If you're there in good time, you may be able to park in and around Aston train station.

I think some people who live in the area also allow fans to park on their drive for a small fee.

- Make sure to check out the exterior of the Holte End. I'm biased but it's the best looking stand in England.
- As I put in the other thread, all pubs around the ground are home fans only. Inside the ground you'll be able to get a beer if you're in the Doug Ellis Lower or North Upper, but no alcohol available in Doug Ellis Upper.
- Our atmosphere is like the rest of the Premier League and the country, poor these days most of the time. However when we're playing well and the Holte End is up then it can be rocking and one of the best in the country.
- You'll more than likely score as we've only kept 3 league clean sheets all season and love to go 1-0 down in games.
- Here's a stat for you. We've conceded to the opposition's first shot on target 17 times this season, which is absolutely mental.
