I have to say, a lot of us including myself completely lost faith in him.

However, his performances in cup games, and tonight have been much better since he was taken out.

He also seems to be a lot more comfortable and better with the ball at his feet than before.
Has 9/10 found a man with long balls tonight too.

I've wanted him back in the team for the last few weeks. He showed tonight why.

His distribution is twice as good as Alnwick's and he's just as good at stopping shots.

Fans annoyed me when they were inpatient for him to kick it. He takes his time but often find the right pass.

Much more imposing than Alnwick.

Agreed. He was very impressive tonight.

Dont think he was really tested but his kicking was great, he picked out a couple of quality balls

You will find that due to their positioning and angles, good keepers face less shots and make it look easier as players pass instead of shooting straight at them.

He made it look easy, which is a good sign, and he came and caught a few balls off his line, he did well as did the defence they all deserve praise for a clean sheet.
