Riza out?

Tue Feb 25, 2025 9:45 pm

How dare he have us six points clear of the bottom three and in a much better place than we he took over? :bluebird:

Really pleased for him. Gets a lot of unfair criticism but the job is only half done. We need 14 more points.

To be fair we couldn't have been in a much worse place than we were when he took over!

Credit where it's due - well done on tonight but before we start handing out the five year contract let's see where we are at the end of the season.

I agree with your headline,he gets win and suddenly a messiah

Re: Riza out?

If we finish strongly to the end of the season he will be kept on no doubt about it and deservedly so.Is learning on the job but he set us up well tonight with all the changes he made and the players clearly enjoy working under him.An experienced coach and DOF will be needed too but let’s just stay up first  :old: :occasion5:

Think you'll find I've been backing him the whole way while our fickle fans are giving him a hard time for nothing.

I’ve noticed there’s no ‘Last 21 games’ thread tonight also!

To be fair to Ned,

He’s Riza 100% all the way.

Personally I don’t agree and def don’t want Riza here next season if we are to advance or are ambitious.

But this is Ned’s special night as Riza finally got a Win.

And very very important one as well.

I WAS TRYING TO BE POSITIVE TONIGHT/ BUT UVE ASKED FOR IT:

Yes there is:

ONLY 4 WINS FROM 21 LEAGUE GAMES / SHOCKING

If it had been, even you and Ned would of finally admitted Riza is not the manager to take us forward

Annis, if we hadn’t won today I would have criticised Riza myself, you are right

Our home form is the best it has been all season, albeit still not the most convincing of performances, what we need now is to start picking up some wins on the road.

We do have a better squad now than we did before Christmas, so the results need to continue improving

So if we lose it's all down to Riza but if we win then he got lucky.

That says it all, I don't even have to say anything

I'm happy with the result, but that performance wasn't good .

Omar Riza is a decent guy.
Where ever we finish this year hopefully stay up.HES NOT THE MAN TO TAKE US FORWARD.
Any team that hopes to be good and push for promotion needs a team of quality plus a top Manager/ Coach
If Mr Tan wants success he has to start with manager then invest in quality players.

He has to take a look at himself before anything else.

It’s his decisions as to why we are constantly in a scrap down the bottom

Just need to play teams like Hull every week, the table doesn't lie, they couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. I am enjoying the 3 points but that was poor. Mannswerk is bailing us out, another loanee as player of the season ?

I don't the Rixa is making us better, but he is not making us worse either. I would be very dissapointed if he is given the role next season, but i see it as a foregone conclusion if we stay up.

The club needs an major overhaul and a man on a rolling 12 months isn't the guy to do it not does he even have the experiance to be on the shortlist.

You're aiming your pissed offness at the wrong people, it's not his or the players fault we're where we are but Tan's.

All I will say Riza has been involved from day one and in charge since the 6th game and if this is our ambition to just about stay up then crowds will continue to dwindle and it shows NO ambition by our club or certain fans.

Very sad.

We Won last night and should all be happy posts like this ???

Great 3 points brilliant.
Again Riza chose to defend with 30 mins left.
It could easily have ended up a draw.
Tactics were poor but hey it was 3 points

Riza didn’t ‘choose’ to defend with 30 minutes left at all.

Hull look to be a possession based team, are decent away from home and needed the points badly so pushed us back.
It’s normal.
We defended well.
