Omer Riza:
“Jak’s had a bad tear in his hamstring. That will rule him out probably until the end of the season. It’s a shame for him and a shame for us because he’s been excellent.
“But Ethan has got a lot of experience and he’s been waiting patiently so it’s an opportunity for him.
“Will Alves took a whack on his knee against Plymouth and it swelled up. We’re managing that and hopefully that’s not too serious.
“Joe Ralls pulled his calf before the Plymouth game, hence why we couldn’t get him on and why Rambo had to play 100 minutes. It’s one of those things where he came back and it had gone. That was disappointing. I know people were asking questions about why Rambo was playing and why Rallsy wasn’t, what a stupid substitution that was, but they don’t know the situation is behind it. I think that’s two or three weeks.
“Joel Bagan managed to get himself on the bench today. We were a bit concerned about how tight his hamstring was. We managed that for him to be on the bench and come on, which is positive.
“Rambo played 100 minutes so to ask him to be involved would have been asking too much. Let’s see how Friday goes, maybe he can get involved on Tuesday, that could be debatable.”

Feel sorry for Alnwick, fair play to him for playing on at Plymouth with a torn hamstring.
Horvath did a good job tonight, hopefully that continues.
Let's hope the injury to Alves doesn't keep him out for too long.
Ralls out for about three weeks, but thankfully it's just as we have other midfielders coming back.

Answers the question we were all asking about why Ramsey played for the full 100 minutes.
Bulut would have tried playing him tonight & Friday.

Yes, can understand the reason he stayed on now.
You're right that Bulut would have made him play all three games in a week.
Don't know what Riza means when he says "see how it goes Friday." Whether that means he'll be playing then or not. Probably means he is.
I thought we would have prioritised the next league fixture against Burnley for him.

Not good news on Alnwick - Let's hope Horvath stays fit and in form for the rest of the season .

need to get another keeper in till end of season as cover

Do we need to sign a free agent keeper as cover?
We have 1 space left in the squad and I think a 3rd keeper is a must now another injury and we'd be screwed.

I would say so, the last thing we need is an injury to Horvath now with no first team keeper ready to go.

I'd say Turner will play on Friday, but as you say we only have 1 experienced 1st keeper and that could be very costly.
I just hope Horvarth stays injury free and doesn't watch the Burnley away game before next week's match.

Something in back of my mind says there is a special rule about bringing in keepers outside the windows if you keepers are injured

This I fear could cost us big time I fear. This is the first real worry I have had since Riza took over. Hopefully horvath has improved from his mistakes.

Would be the correct call ...
