Great to get 3 points last night to push us away from bottom 3 even though a grind.
But
A few saying " that win will keep us up"?
Have you looked at our remaining fixture list?
Burnley, sunderland, Preston, west brom, Sheff utd, Norwich !!
And a few banana skins - Luton, Stoke, all trying to stay up like us.
Still time for a great run from any lower Championship team. Just hope it's us

Look at the teams below us. Look at their fixture list. They all play each other and teams in the top ten.
We might well lose to Burnley and Sunderland but I still believe we will be safe

Leeds apart there's no one to fear in this division.
Sargent at Norwich gives them more threat and will be tough especially away.
I fancy us to get something against Burnley, obviously they don't conceded many.
You just look at our squad and even the bench yesterday with loads missing still had options to change the game.

Yes its a horrific run in and we are far from safe.
We have struggled against the teams down with us. We are now going to play those up there. Football is a funny old game and we just might get the points from them up there to stay up. Lets see.

All
I will say is , We got 6pts out of a possible 15pts in January against mainly the weaker teams.
I am worried.
But Riza, seems very happy, says he was well backed, says he has a good squad, also very happy with his strike force.
We do now have Ramsey playing very well and Isaak Davies has come back.
Cian Ashford is on fire with his pace etc
The New players look very good.
So it’s over to Riza, this squad should be at least 8th in the Championship.

We're still right in the shite. That win was vital with Burnley, Sunderland and Blackburn our next 3.
We're still playing with fear. Riza needs to manage that. When we're free-flowing and confident, I fancy us to beat one of those 3 or at least not lose all 3.
Wed Feb 26, 2025 9:15 am
The football over the last few months hasn't been great and last night was much of the same. We got the three points but it hasn't changed my opinion that Riza has to go, i know people say he's a nice guy but being a nice guy wont keep us up.

12 games left. Need to win at least 3 of them. We can do it.
Wed Feb 26, 2025 11:28 am
Of course it doesn't keep us up.
But it is a huge step towards it, not just the points but physiologically.
Yes we have tough games coming up but so do the teams around us.
Luton and Derby have lost nine of their last twelve.
Sometimes I wonder if people actually want us to stay up.
Last night was a huge moment.

Hugely important because of the psychological hit too. Even Plymouth really need 7 points to reel us in with GD and they couldn’t beat 10 man us with a keeper that couldn’t walk. We have had good performances against teams higher in the league. We have to be brave and organised.

Exactly the way I see it. This is a poor league and we can get a result against any of them

I have to agree
And this squad should be at least 8th in the Championship as it’s the poorest for years

Plenty of teams on much worse form than us recently. We’re 14th over the last 6 games, 12th over the last 10.
I actually agree 7pts thanks to Plymouth’s goal average
But it’s quite sad we are just chuffed we’re above the bottom 3 and not way higher with the players we have

If any cares opta has 49 points as safe.... we'll get 48 and nearest to safety get 42 points so on that basis 7 points clear at end season... but agree with ned some people are willing us to get relegated just to k prove a point..

If Riza had won 5 of the games Bulut lost before he was sacked, we'd be in the play offs.
If Riza had won 4 of the games Bulut lost, we'd be 9th.
Shows how close this league is.
Bulut put us in a relegation battle to begin with. Riza's job is to keep us up. I'd say he's doing a good job of it.
However beyond this season, if the club want to succeed, I hope they recognise we need a proper manager.
Wed Feb 26, 2025 3:48 pm
Luton 3
Blackburn 1
Sheff Wed 3
QPR 1
Preston 3
Stoke 3
Oxford 3
West Brom 1
Norwich 1
That's what we need to aim for, we won't need all those anyway, there are more than three worse teams than us, and Salech and Robbo's goals will keep us up. We may start to see Fish and Horvath making a difference too, from now on too, plus there will be the odd surprise against the big teams as the season progresses and results get strange.

It's consistency isn't it .You have to put a few wins together to get away from the bottom 3 .
Wins is what we need.
I thought last night was a good win but the negative was we gave them the possession a better team would punish us maybe but we deserved the win .Can we keep the wins coming that's what we need it's simple.
Go win games

We have at least 3 Home games which we need to target as Wins ... anything else is a bonus

We have a decent squad particularly when theres no long term injuries. There is no way we should be in this position. An experienced EFL manager I am sure they would have us in the top 10. Player recruitment has improved last 12 months, managerial and coaching recruitment continues to go backwards as much as I like Riza. And thats on Tan

Mark Robins is an experienced manager appointed by Stoke, which many on here wanted us to appoint as our manager, now we are above them, so Riza is not doing too bad at all, just that some people have not given him a chance, calling for him to be replaced from game one

Good job possession doesn't win you games... in fact this season possession is winning teams less games.... reason don't get punished is teams simply make use of possession they have we did hull didn't so we deserved to win.

An excellent point. Too many on here thinks changing the manager fixes everything. LUTON,PLYMOUTH and DERBY have changed theirs and they are doing ever so well

Time for talk about change is for the end of the season in my view and if we are going to do a Titanic this season there's no point rearranging the deck chairs at this point.

Spot on.
I think some people just have an addiction to sacking managers.

Football owners certainly do so and dont need fans to join in the cull of coaches!
