I think Pompey are starting to pull away now. Nine points clear of the bottom three compared to six for us.

So would rather they win and it leaves Luton eight points behind us and we'll have a game in hand.

Oxford losing 1-0 at the moment.

Draw or Luton win don't want pompey getting away ... if Luton win still 5 points behind us... Oxford lose so bad run at right time for us

Disagree a tad Pembroke. Pompey to draw would be great. Second option should be for them to win to keep Luton firmly down the bottom

Tbh it doesn't really matter as both ways benefit us in some way.... my logic for Luton win is Portsmouth 3 points ahead so Luton win means it still 3 points so we can catch them Luton if win are still behind us by a little way.... the more teams we can catch the better.

When you look at rival clubs remaining
Fixtures all play each other as well as we play a couple of them...can see city safely surviving unless we have a meltdown between now end season...

Yes I agree. Couple of teams above us looking nervously over their shoulders now. Pompey, Oxford.

Luton beat Pompey but Derby and Oxford lost. Stoke drew at home.

Could have been worse.

No one in bottom 6 are putting run together other than city still think we'll be ok if only because everyone is playing each other .... but its our games against rivals that will be crunch time for us..

Re: " After Today "

Oxford getting dragged back into it now only 2 points out of the last 21. I thought they were safe end of January.

Not really too much damage done today.

Re: " After Today "

16th has to be the target for this squad. I know we've got some tough games but I genuinely feel with the addiontions added in Jan, hopefully Ramsey staying injury free and our younger players getting stronger there's no one to fear in our remaining fixtures.
