Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes Cardiff City "should be fine" in their fight for Championship survival after seeing their performance against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
The Bluebirds fought hard against the Premier League side, but their class eventually won out, with three-times Champions League winner Marco Asensio netting twice in the second half to see Villa through to the quarter-finals.
Keane also heaped praise on Callum Robinson and Ethan Horvath.
ROY KEANE:
"I think the manager will be pleased, he would have been worried if they got beat 4-0 or 5-0, but they leave here with a little bit of confidence, some good shape, a good experience for them and they've got some big battles ahead.
"It's good experience for these players, the experienced and the young ones, and they'll get better for that. There was a player on the pitch who scored two goals, who has won the Champions League three times. They need to play against these players to see what they are trying to get to.
"There was a nice shape to them, some nice spirit, Cardiff. You look at them and you look at the big games they've got going forward and you're thinking, they should be fine."
"Callum is a really good player. He has probably lacked that bit of pace, maybe, or power to make it in the Premier League, he's played most of his career in the Championship.
"But he is a handful and he has scored some really important goals recently for Cardiff. He has got something in his locker - there is talent there with Callum."
"Sometimes you see a player in the Championship and you just know they've been at a big club. They've got something, but he's lost his way a little bit over the years. But he is a goal threat."
"The goalkeeper was always going to be tested and these are good saves - very good saves. It was a good night for him, he'll be very pleased."
