Vote your Man of the Match versus Burnley @ home in the Championship
A good start was soon undone by a neat Burnley side, who seemed to open up the Bluebird defence at will
Two good but wholly avoidable (aren’t they all?) goals saw us go 2 - 0 down but an excellent header from Yousef Salech saw the Bluebirds pull one back before half-time! This was the first goal Burnley have conceded in 13 Championship games and Salech also hit both the post and the bar!
The second half saw the Bluebirds come more into the game and the introduction of Colwill, Rambo, and Robinson saw us press a little more. However, Burnley still looked slick with the ball and they kept causing us problems at the back
Ethan Horvath had another good game in the Bluebird goal and surely kept us in the game with some very good saves!
A tough game that really could have gone either way. But for me, the two mentioned above were our standout players and in this occasion, my vote goes to Yousef Salech for being the first player to breach to Burnley net since November!
We finally appear to have a ‘striker’ in our midst!
