Ive been impressed with will fish performances when he has been in the side lately. Given more games and experience he is only going to get better.
Also dylan lawlor done very well against top opponents in villa the other night, I would put him infront of bagan and ng for a centre half spot and maybe even goutas or chambers? Maybe experience will count against him but he looks sharp and if your good enough your old enough. Goutas looks like he ball watches and switches off too much to be reliable, we have one of the worse defences in the league is this a reason why? If our leaky defence is part of the reason we are in a relegation battle should we change it?
For me wether this season or for the future at least, dylan lawlor and will fish could end up being a cracking pairing or as part of a 3 for centre halfs in the future

No dylan lawler or will fish in the starting 11 again yesterday and another loss. Goutas starting again and sleeping again for one of the goals conceded. Goutas starts again yet we keep leaking goals and riza keeps picking the same leaky defence. Shocking riza.

That last sentence. Shocking that he picked a defender who most fans love and has consistently been decent.
That reminds me, some new temporary traffic lights have made it a nightmare for me to get anywhere in good time in the area where I live. Shocking Riza.
I'm half expecting him to be blamed for what's going on in Gaza and Ukraine soon

Most fans love goutas? New to me that. Always been decent? Well if you call inconsistent decent that your opinion, but inconsistent and lacking concentration is not decent to me, and we need better than decent thats for sure. Nowhere near a sol bamba/sean morrison standard.

I think that’s a bit unfair on Goutas to be honest.
We haven’t had a consistent back 4 all season for a multitude of reasons.
Knowing where your defensive team mates are and where they are meant to be is key to defending, and far too often there have been new partnerships not allowing that trust to be built.

I'm not big on Goutas, either. However, he is the best of our worst defence in donkeys years. I'd let him leave at the end of the season, he's not a championship defender and would probably be more suited at a higher level on the continent or back home.

Goutas has been a dependable solid centre back since he joined. Surprised at so much negativity. We have had far worse players.
I would say if he isn't staying and if we can get safe before end of season then Lawlor comes in.

Goutas to me is like Grobblelar.
Brilliant defender however always prone to the occasional clanger.
Let’s face facts, we all recognise that our defence hasn’t been the best this season. Sloppy goals conceded, defenders going to sleep at key moments with opposition left in too much space. Goutas has almost been ever present in this squad, so it’s fair to suggest (just like last Saturday when he fell asleep for their 2nd) that he’s been part responsible for this season’s woes.
Yes the Tinkerman hasn’t helped get consistency and our shocking tactic of playing out from the back resulting in Russian roulette with the ball.
I thought Fish has performed well considering how much game time he’s had. Perhaps as the OP has suggested Lawlor is old enough and good enough? I wouldn’t use Bagan as I like him at left back as it also means O’Dowda can play further forward.
