looking at his comments about the board, sounds like they didn't want to sign him, they told him "that's on you" when he said he was ready for championship football, so far seems like a good call from riza

So you've never been in a job where you've made decisions or been told it's up to you?

I think delegation is the right way.
When I employed managers. At the interviews I always made it clear they were the decision makers at their units and had my full backing. I only had 2 decisions to make, 1 whether I employ them, and 2 whether I sack them. I wasn’t taking them on to for me to do the managing. Once over the shock of hearing that the majority of them welcomed it and enjoyed the confidence placed in them.

One of the first names on the teamsheet for me.
But I do agree with what others have said recently, would like to see him and Robinson play together more.

Would love to see these 2 up there and bring back the days of Jay and Chops
