I think the problem might be the opposite in that he pays too much attention to others (Purse & Shaw) rather than being smug & doing it his way.

I believe Riza definitely pays too much attention to others, mainly Tan.

Tan may also be getting his messages over to Riza via Purse and Shaw.

We only have to look at the Plymouth and Portsmouth home games to see how Riza can set a team up to win.

He needs to grow a pair and do it his way before it's too late.
