We can talk about Riza and/or new managers until the cows come home.
But another thing that is clearly missing is the leadership from the senior players.
When you're in a hole, you need them to step up.
Look at Manchester United at the moment. It's on a bigger scale in terms of the club size, but they've been in a bad situation this season. But they have a captain in Bruno Fernandes who steps up and gets them out of trouble.
Where are our leaders? The likes of Goutas, Ralls, Ramsey, O'Dowda etc have experience but are hiding just as much as the rest of them.
They need to show leadership on and off the pitch to help us - starting at Blackburn.

There is no leadership.

Yeah, I guess that's my point.

On the contrary I think Riza gives too much respect and leadership to senior players and his committee style approach to management is the problem. There is no fear factor in his management, he's not a boss, hes a coach. Some of the senior players have been a disgrace and should have be dropped but they have continued. Goutas being a prime example recently. He's been absolutely awful for weeks but I bet he plays tomorrow. Good managers expect high standards regardless of who you are.

I see your point re Goutas but they have an absolute giant up front for them tomorrow; I don’t fancy Fish or Bagan against him.

I am not massively into the captain and leadership thing, its so 70's.
These are young alpha males, they need hierarchy and order. Subconsciously, they challenge their status within the group.
Riza did very little as a footballer, so every first-team player looks at him as a footballer and knows they are better. They look at his managerial accomplishments and also think, WTF does he know? He is a youth coach. They also know the culture at Cardiff with Tan and are probably waiting for the inevitable.
What I know is if I were on a win bonus I would want shot of him. Professional football is one of the most self-centred, I am alright Jack trades out there, so unless it suits them, i doubt many will raise their head above the parapet.
I hope they have relegation clauses

Well you two that means Riza is not appointing the right Captain and working with him.

I’m not sure there is anyone in our squad who is captain material.
If we look at the likes of Morrison, Kav etc, they were true leaders who led by example
