He's definitely better as a striker instead of on the wing. He's obviously not going to start ahead of Salech or Robinson but if he can perform like that from the bench, he has a part to play in this relegation battle.

Think he deserves credit where it's due today.

Has become a whipping boy at times and deserved it on occasions.

Totally agree. When the chips are down you need people to step up and he certainly did that today.

This run in will sort out the men from the boys and players who actually care and for all the stick he's taken he could've quite easily downed tools.

He showed great character today more than some of the favourites who are from immune from criticism.

Doesn't help that he usually comes on too late to have any effect on the game & then he's played on the wing for some obscure reason.

Ok got the winner but I still don't think he gives 100 per cent every minute he is on the pitch.

Always causes problems with his physical approach. Hasn't had a good scoring record here .he's not a winger and not an out and out striker so that kind of sums him up .I do feel he gives a lot of effort and I'm delighted for him and us today hope he gets more for us

Agreed - nothing to do with love or hate!! Well done Yakou - great performance by one of OUR players and he scored one of the most important goals we have scored all season!!

Considering the donkeys we have signed over the last few years I am baffled why he gets so much stick. Always seems to give his all in my opinion and though he hasn't scored many he is always a physical presence.

People are happy to criticise him but refuse to give him credit when he deserves it.

And yes, I stand by saying it's hate that people put towards him.

That includes racist abuse, totally unnecessary.

As an attacker, he's been beaten by Ashford in the same duration but less than 50% of the games, beaten by Salech in just shy of 2 months.12 other players have more goals and assists this season. 2 others are shared, one of those is Alves; again here a strawberry season.
