Cardiff greatest

I remember vividly finding out he'd died and I was in absolute shock - I thought someone was having me on at the time (in not a nice way).

Taken way too soon and still very sad about it. An exceptional player. RIP Pete.

So many times I just was mesmerised by his quality. RIP Whitts Bluebirds legend

We were so lucky to have such an amazing player for so long.

Would love to live his era again knowing what we know now so I can appreciate his skill and ability more at that time.

An absolute tragedy to lose Whitts at such a young age, he was such a talented player who was loyal to us for so long, when he could so easily have gone on to a more successful club than us, but he chose to stay. Thank you for your service to us, we will never forget you, and hopefully this statue planned in memory of you is erected soon.

I was amazed the number of times we had a free kick the amount of people would take out their phones because they new he would score.

….and we’d see the real anger on players’ faces if they conceded free kicks close to the area. They all knew what was coming.

I loved Peter whittingham when he scored goals they where great goals

I have dvd of full game against Wolves when he scored a hat trick, shot, penalty, free kick. Pure class the only downside was we were playing in red.
