Birmingham City asked for 50,000 plus tickets v Peterborough United

Wembley Stadium

Birmingham City FC:

The Club is pleased to announce that all tickets for the Vertu Trophy Final are now sold out.

43,356 Bluenoses will travel to the National Stadium on Sunday 13 April when Chris Davies' side take on Peterborough United in the Vertu Trophy Final.

The demand for tickets has been extraordinary, with all general admission tickets selling out within 30 minutes of release. The Club would like to thank all supporters for getting behind Chris Davies' team in what promises to be a memorable day for the Club.

Unfortunately, the Club has now been informed that due to supporter segregation and safety reasons there will be no additional tickets available beyond the current allocation.

They've done well to get that many.

They normally limit it at about 25k per team for the FA Cup Final, obviously different rules for the EFL Trophy.

Ridiculous really when the stadium holds around 90k.

Big support for the Bluenoses tbf …would have made a hell if an atmosphere if Wrexham had made it .
Be interesting how many they bring to us next season if we stay up .
Live not too far away from St Andrews and Brum FC reminds me a lot of city ….dodgy owners overs the years and a club that has taken underachieving to a new level despite a loyal hardcore of fans.
Remember St Andrews in 80s….dump !
